Memphis don’t really have use for Smart anymore since GG and wells develop into solid rotation guys. So basically trading with the Celtics did nothing for the grizzlies while it helped Celtics get Jrue and KP on their way to their cakewalk ring

Well to be fair Memphis did the same thing for LAL with the Pau trade.

So this kind is of evens things up between the Lakers and Celtics in terms of titles gifted to them by the Grizzlies.
