The United States doesn't actually use tax dollars for anything at all. If billions in covid relief and help to Ukraine haven't opened anyone's eyes to this then nothing will. When the United States wants to spend money? They just print it up. They don't actually wait to collect everyone's taxes before spending.

Federal Income Taxes are basically just used to keep inflation in check.

On a state level? That might be different. That is where it mostly works like it is supposed to. But on a Federal Level? Your tax dollars are not being used for anything at all other than to keep inflation at a healthy level.
