Anyone else think the same thing? Watching him play now against OKC and he's not driving it as much as he could. He looks like he can't beat his defender off the dribble and he's passing it way too much when he should just be taking the game over. He passes up easy shots at the basket for ill-advised 3's. I don't think it's a lack of talent, I think it's all mental with him. He needs to develop that killer instinct.

His three-point shooting has been a fantastic development. However, his decision-making sucks. He shoots when he should drive. He tries to score when he should pass. His basketball IQ, feel, and awareness need to improve. But he doesn't seem like the smartest person so I won't hold my breath.

Talented as hell. But stupid.

He started off the season hot and got overrated by a lot of people. He's all star caliber, but he's not a top ten player.

He got really good at the 3pointer and it's taken away from his driving game. But that said, because of his crazy posters he's developed a reputation of being some elite slasher, but he really isn't. He isn't exceptionally fast, it's moreso his explosiveness off a gather and not needing much momentum to launch in the air. But he's more in the Vince Carter mold as far as speed and lateral movement as opposed to like young MJ or Wade, or even Kobe.

Nah it's just the Mavs showed the blueprint for beating the Wolves last year which is to cheat your whole defense towards Edwards and the Wolves dont have any other way of making you pay. Teams just completely overplay him now and shut down the driving lanes. The Wolves have no solution for it. He cant just drive 1 on 5 into traffic, it wont work.

He didnt just become passive IMO, teams are taking him out of the game and daring the rest of the Wolves to beat them.

100 % correct... he could be in a slump... his 3 point shooting is like Patrick is taking them.
ironically great super star players use something else in their arsanal to compete and win..

True. Some people have compared him to jimmy butler but even tho the latter is already old, at least he's proven to others that he can be a beast in the playoffs. (https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTgJlaYykOeriV0g-CmztDbyLIB7OzQHuDISg&usqp=CAU)

Maybe people will not like my statement, but I think he is a little bit overrated because there are not many superstars nowadays, there is that need for special players, and therefore he is supposed to be in a level he isn't in yet. It is a little bit similar with Tatum. Anyway, I can see the similarity with Jimmy Butler, they both have that agressive style of playing. Edwards, however, doesn't take over games that often.

Their spacing is awful. It isnt like there are lanes for him to drive when he is playing with Gobert/McDaniels/Randle.

Texting a girl to get an abortion, assuming the baby is provably yours, is a bad look. Dude will prob fade away now. I thought he was ok. Pr nightmare, and he’s gonna get bled for cash.

Is this twice? Or was it the same one? Rip if twice.

Yes their spacing is very poor but what makes it worse is the Wolves tend to run the little spacing they have with Randle because if they don’t their offense will really fall off.

So Ant plays with the worst spacers because he can create offense better than Randle.
