Im not saying I personally care about the gun stuff, but wasnt the whole idea of suspending Ja about him pretending visually to be a gun wielding gangsta? And the NBA was like "ohhh no, we cant have that image, not a good look."

But then they invite Jello to come and literally glorify the exact same thing Ja did?? Whats the difference?? Whats the difference besides one is video and one is audio? It's the EXACT same message sent. And they had this dude performing at All Star Weekend after they suspended their own player for being the same guy Jello is, a pretend thug??

Ja was suspended for conduct believed to be detrimental to the league. The league doesn't believe Gelo singing his song is detrimental to the league.

But the question would be WHY is one perceived detrimental and not the other?

One guy is flashing guns, the other is rapping about guns. Both were doing it as 'performance' it's not like Ja was on camera sticking up a liquor store. He was basically pretending to be a rapper wavin his guns. And the league said 'nah uh.'

And then they invite the brother of two of the leagues players to come to All Star Weekend and perform a gangsta rap about his guns :oldlol:

Not really. The league interprets subjectively what is good for them.

For example, players wearing baggy jeans & chains = not good for image. Inviting a famous rapper who wear baggy jeans and chains = good for image.
