That being wrapped up to my satisfaction let me ask….
Who is your “Always a little better than I expected” starting 5?
I have Portis at the 4 and Normal Powell at the 2. Even knowing both are good they still usually play better than I expect when I watch full games.

Witch hunt society. He did nothing to jeopardize the game or cheat it at all. Meanwhile there are many superstars who were juiced to the gills and league turned blind eye for the money they brought in. Stupid hypocritical system, they just need a patsy once in a while to act like they're doing their jobs.

This is an insult to the integrity of the NBA, and it's number 1 ambassador, LeClean&Natural James.
I would double that suspension. If for no other reason than the ignominious and unjust reflection of Lebron the offense creates.

They gotta suspend the role players sometimes to make it look like the league actually gives a crap about PEDs when it comes to their star players.

that story kblaze posted sounds fishy. tramadol is an opioid and a highly addictive controlled substance. its not something you just casually give out to someone.

Potentially gives one of the high seeds a nasty first round. None of the top 3 want to deal with a team where Giannis can carry you all game and then they have Lillaird in the clutch.

umm, it's one of the weakest opiates. it's not even in the same category as other opiates, it's a lesser drug.
the DEA has a schedule for controlled substances, and in this totem pole, the lower equates to less potent/lesser controlled substances. Oxycodone for example, is a schedule II drug, as are other potent and truly highly addictive opiates.
Potency:
Tramadol is about 10–20% as potent as morphine.
It's slightly weaker than most other opioids.
It's generally considered less potent than oxycodone.

If the story is true, sucks for Portis.
But at least they caught the people who robbed Portis's home.

Always comes out as a mistake. We all know they were taking it with knowledge and Portis and his agent just like almost every other person caught in a major sports drugging use the same mistake to save face.
They knew it was banned.

well you have to consider that it has been historically used as a weapon against black people. there's never been any major harm from marijuana use. but white legislators knew that black people smoked it, like A LOT of black people...so if it's on the schedule of controlled substances, all of a sudden a cop can pull you over and say he "smelled" marijuana. or "find" marijuana on your person/property whilst having weapons and BAM, federal offense even though owning a weapon is legal, doing so while having marijuana IS NOT. then you get sent to upstate to do a 10 year bid, unless of course you're white since statistically speaking, blacks were disproportionately punished more severely for marijuana offenses versus white folks. but of course, when enough voters decided that it was time, they legalized on the state level for many states. it continues being illegal on the fed level so the weapons-MJ combo is still illegal, that's how they tried getting ma boii Hunter. classical government overreach.

Yeah and it also has crazy side effects. I did read that people metabolize it differently, and some people get a potent effect, but it seems ridic someone would risk millions for tramadol. He coulda been raw blood doping like wemby (lol) and got the same sentence.

It's a opoid itself. Maybe in the fenta and oxy riddled US it's nothing, but in none drugged out society you don't just pass such pills.

it's synthetic afaik. It works different.
I think the opiod crisis is a fakn joke, and Tramadol is a great example. You can go into anywhere with pain and get that shit. That's, to me, some 'nah I'd rather have aspirin and tylenol' level pain killer, and it also can make you hallucinate. I think it ****s with your dopamine on a different level, but I definitely think it's poorly metabolized by many.
I've never had oxy, and I've never had fentanyl haha. I did get hydrocodone cough syrup once. That shit is one of the few drugs that makes you glad to be sick. The rest like codeine, etc is just meh. You'd have to slam a lot before you got any sort of a 'high,' and the high people are getting from tramadol is some other shit, like huffing glue, imo.
It's not so much that it's nothing, tho, it's more that I can't see someone sneaking it unless it's true that some people really do get a crazy effect.
edit: otoh, "The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has added tramadol to its 2024 Prohibited List of Substances and Methods. This is because research has found that tramadol can enhance sports performance."

Unless Bobby VERY recently got some sort of dental surgery, this means he is probably either trying to quit lean/drank (codeine/promethazine syrup), or he’s buying some bootleg lean/drank on the black market. Tramadol is essentially a weaker form of opioid.
