Donald Trump's US?
Free speech free speech free speech. Even free to fake news. Free to joke about anyone. Citizens are trusted to sort out the data and decide for themselves.
“Congress shall make no law... abridging freedom of speech.”

Justin Trudeu's Canada?
Forced gender affirming speech. It is a CRIME to not affirm someone's claimed gender identity even if it is your own child. Strong political push for dis and misinformation.
"Reasonable limits
Freedom of expression in Canada is not absolute; section 1 of the Charter allows the government to pass laws that limit free expression so long as the limits are "reasonable and can be justified in a free and democratic society"

Or Olaf's Germany?
Can not offend anyone neither in person nor on the internet. An entire government thought police with 16 locations has been created for the sole purpose of hunting down gossip and online trolling. It's actually more punishable to commit these offenses on the internet as opposed to in real life.
"German law prohibits speech that could incite hatred or is deemed insulting."

The US currently has a dictator as it's leader, so definitely Canada, Germany, or any other 1st world country, until 2029 at least.

If the free speech country has a dictator than what exactly do you call the speech-controlled countries?

Lots of countries consistently rank higher than the US in various happiness gauges.

But as far as that poll goes, if pronouns or trolling online are that important to you? You are probably someone that needs to go outside more and do real socializing. Pronoun issues don't actually come up, like ever lol. Unless you are someone who works within the trans community or something. For the average Joe it isn't something anyone has to deal with on a regular basis.

Pronouns are usually from a 3rd person perspective anyway. When you are talking about "HIM" or "HER" when they are not even around.

This is the only reasonable one.

yea but we are rife with first world problems. It ain't sweet here, but it's always been better than anywhere else. I am shocked anyone would truly believe it's not if they were born in the US.

There might be places with something you'd want to go to, but you'd still probably rather have it be under US jurisdiction. We are becoming all-time brainwashed to believe we somehow have it tough in ****ing America.

And yeah, some people are struggling, but I'm talking about as a whole.

Another trolling thread but for the record:

There isn't a single metric which has the US as one of the best countries to live in. In fact, the US is usually at least 20 places down and that was before the brain dead orangutan took charge.

I expect that the US will soon place below dozens more.
