View Full Version : Now that Lebron has Luka to match Jokic, the Nuggets should be an automatic W right?

And the Lakers should have an automatic dynasty, just like we would see with Curry, MJ, or Duncan, since they produced dynasties with lesser players than Luka, correct?
And if Denver is still somehow a problem and Lebron/Luka don't have a dynasty, then doesn't that mean that Lebron is inferior since he lacks the skills to fit with guys and win with greater help than his peers??
Finally, didn't 1 for 6 with AD prove this already?... Don't 50+ guys do equal or better with AD than Lebron did, which proves Lebron is a fraud?.. Didn't the catastrophic embarrassments with Wade/Bosh or failing to win 60 with Kyrie/Love already prove this?.. 22 years has proven that Lebron is incapable of a dynasty due to a ball-dominant skillset that turns teammates into spot-up shooter, thereby preventing elite roster construction and chemistry.

OP is spot on. Lebron is the biggest underachiever of any "great." Nobody's accomplished less with more.

You promised me that Lebron would play the "karl malone" role, so Luka could play to capacity as the 2nd-best player in the league.... But it turns out that I was right and Lebron is just a primary ballhandler, so the fit is so bad that Luka cannot even play at all as we saw in the last game... so you should probably get down from your high horse as an apparent fraud victim

You did for an entire page in this thread, starting here:
This is a decent hypothetical. It pretty much requires Lebron to be the screen/roll guy (which he is fantastic at)

I never brought up Karl Malone, you did.
Also Pip went 6/6 in the finals.

Lakers led for most of the series last year and Bron and AD played out of their minds in all their series against Jokic, but it comes down to if the Lakers can out-execute the Nuggets down the stretch of games. Without AD they have the option to play Bron at the 5 and exploit Jokic more on the other end of the court and wear him out in the series, but to me it still comes down to Murray cooking the Laker guards in late game situations and the Lakers still don't have an answer for that.

Oh yeah, especially since everything just happens " automatically " on paper right? You get more dense as you post, almost as if intelligence is a jug and you've poured out the last drops. Barring a miracle performance from both Luka and Lebron, the Lakers aren't beating any teams with even decent bigs when your C rotation is Hayes and Len. Get a grip.

Does Lebron still have as many rings with the Lakers than Jokic has with the Nuggets...

It's not Lebron that has Luka, but Luka that has Lebron.
If this game was an indication, then Luka will keep rolling and Lebron will legitimately be Pippen for the first time in his life, but in reality more like D-Wade in 2012.
