We all know about how stars numbers diminish with Lebron, but also remember that Westbrook was still in his prime coming off all those triple double seasons. He comes to LA and it feels like Lebron competed against him to try to bring his numbers down. I can see the same thing with Doncic. At first it feels like a steal to get him, but it feels like Lebron is going to try to outdo his co star teammate. Make a prime Luca look worthless. Imagine that. 40 year old Lebron playing to beat his own teammate. And of course in the end, many people fall for it and end up saying Lebron had very little help and just point to his stats.

I'm sorry to hear that. It'll get better, I promise.

Yeah, AD was fine playing the beta bitch role, but we'll see if Luka's ok doing the same. If not, the Lakers are going to have serious problems.

or maybe....just here me out op. Maybe these players are only good when they have the ball in their hands controlling everything and dribbling the air out of the ball. maybe thats why they are good....or maybe its just all lebron's fault....just lebron standing on the court with them makes them not be able to shoot

The issue with Lebron's ball dominance is also that it's so predictable, there's no room to read the floor and make a move off ball, because Lebron basically only does drive and kick for his assists.

Luka also dominates the ball, but he passes to anyone who is open, so his teammates can make moves off the ball.
