The Cavs sent the Knicks quite a message today. That if they meet in the playoffs it's going to be a sweep.
Not saying that's my prediction but that's how the game looked today

CBS Sports: "With a 142-105 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, the Knicks are now 0-6 against the league's top three teams (OKC, Cleveland and Boston). They have lost all but one of those games by double digits -- one by 37, two by at least 25, another by 23, with an average margin of defeat of 21 points."

Jarrett Allen left the second half with a hand injury. X-rays came back negative, but he pulled himself out saying it wasn't right. MRI will be done Saturday. Hopefully it's not too bad. He missed the whole Boston series last year because of a rib injury.

The way that game was going playing with any kind of injury would not have made sense. X-ray can't see a ligament tear but he should be alright.

40 point blowout is a stretch but asking for Josh Hart to make up for what we saw is a bit much.

I get that. But i meant the dominance of the cavs rn. Looks like injuries are the only thing slowing them down.

They are certainly one of the favorites but they have one challenge in the conference and the Thunder or Nuggets would be tough in the Finals.
They swept the nuggets in the rs while they went split against the thunder. But i do agree it will be different and tougher in the postseason.

Pretty sure NYK was without OG, Hart, and obviously Mitch Rob. I wouldnt read much into it.
That said, Cleveland is obviously more of a favorite in the East than NYK right now regardless. But I dont see the actual disparity being nearly as severe as last night's blow out.

The Knicks were coming off a b2b that went into OT, were on the road, and not even at full strength. Cleveland does look amazing... they were the 1 seed before getting this hunter guy so that was an all in move.
The Cavs are the team to beat out east.
