I kinda feel bad for Nico, he's clearly the fall guy here.

The emphatic statement Mavs CEO Patrick Dumont made rebuking Luka's leadership and conditioning tells me this is not an owner who was reluctantly convinced to make this trade, but an owner who probably pulled the lever himself and had the GM do what the GM is paid to do, which is take the rap for it.

Nico, while deserving of at least a good amount of the hate he’s getting, is most certainly NOT “the final boss” of this “could be the worst trade in NBA history”
