We know theres a segment thats not gonna vote Jokic this year under any circumstance. And thats fine, I dont care about that.

But what if LAL finish top 2? Do you think the media narrative becomes "Ok, SGA has a long career ahead to win MVPs, lets get Lebron a deserved fifth MVP?"

Im not asking this "in character," it's an honest question. Do you think it's realistic LBJ could make a late MVP charge?

OKC and Denver would literally have to collapse or get injured. In short, no. Doesn't matter if LA finished the rest of the season with the best record in the league. It's going to SGA or Jokic as long as no one gets injured.

Nobody other than a sycophant or a front running nut-hugger wants to see someone receive a charity MVP award. If a player straight up earns MVP, give it to the player that earns it. If that's SGA, then it should go to SGA. Anything else would delegitimatize all previous recipients just to be a prisoner of the moment. JMHO.

It's gonna happen. Bron for MVP.
