Lebron playing well off the ball might be too much for 3ball to handle.

He’s definitely going to be in crisis once the Lakers are gifted the chip because of the LA fires.

It amazes me how teams keep letting Lebron get wide open from left wing 3pt range over and over. Both of Lukas first two dimes to Lebron were exactly that. That's his sweet spot. It's almost like a free throw memory point on the court for him.

You would think playoff defenses will take that shot away at all costs... but teams like Pelicans don't really give a ****. They probably don't even scout film seriously. :lol Zion in the back on his phone hitting up IG models and the rest of the team snoozing like they're in school.

Lakers aren't winning this year so 3ball will simply hang onto that.

Having Luka makes things so much easier for LeBron, you could see him having enough energy to be impactful on the defensive end now.

Lebron might have to opt out after this season a sign a new contract through 2027-28. Luka’s gonna be adding more years to LeBron career

Nah I hope this is his last contract. It still has two more years on it. We don't want to see an actual washed up Lebron.

Hell we been trying to "wash" him for like 7 or 8 years now. Still won't fade lol.

In terms of the Luka-Lebron chemistry, it's already quite good. I think they are most effective giving Luka the ball and letting Lebron play off of him. Lebron has become a really good catch and shoot guy since last season and also a pretty good cutter and elite transition finisher. Luka also playing pretty good D from what I saw from him.

Since Luka came over which is 10 games now, the Lakers are 11th in ORtg and 3rd in DRtg league wide. The offense honestly isn't impressive. The defense is extremely impressive. Going forward as they build even better chemistry, I expect the offense to improve but I do expect the defense to regress a bit towards the mean. Their opponent shooting luck has been quite good. Teams have been shooting horribly from 3pt land against the Lakers.

I think we're already seeing that I was correct about Luka Ball being superior to Bran Ball.

When Bran is trying to play Bran Ball with Luka on the bench the Lakers just look below-average on offense but are THRIVING with Luka on & Bran off. Makes you think.

You think LeBron now being carried by Luka is somehow going to make any difference in an attempt to prove that LeBron's the goat? That ship sailed in 2011.... 14 years later and you LeBron dickriders AND 3ball are still going on about this.

FOH, all of you.

Exactly. Don't know why Bronsexuals are so excited about the fact that LeBorn has had SIGNIFICANTLY WAY MORE HELP than Jordan to get less rings (and take more finals losses to get them).

This isn't about Lebron, it's about Luka being the only player able to turn Lebron into a productive offball player.

CAREER STATS

Lebron won titles in 20% of his seasons with this:

Wade'........ 22.3..... 4.7... 5.4
AD'............ 24.2... 10.7... 2.8
Kyrie'......... 23.7..... 4.1... 5.6
Luka'......... 28.5..... 8.3... 7.8
Bosh.......... 19.2..... 8.5... 2.0
Jamison..... 18.5..... 7.5... 1.6
Love.......... 16.2... 10.0... 2.0
Pippen....... 16.1..... 6.4... 5.2 <------- MJ won in 40% of his seasons with this

When a player needs top 3 players in the league like Luka, AD or Wade, it means the player is inferior to someone that won more with far lesser guys like Hal Greer, Klay, Pippen, Parker, Pau, Horry, or Murray.

So it's pretty simple - Lebron is a fraud by virtue of a skillset whose stats include bad chemistry (imposing spot-up roles) and therefore needs the most help ever but still achieves weak title frequency.

You said Bron & Luka wouldn't work because they are both ball dominant. Complete 180 to "LeBron needs Luka"

Looks like you have to go back to the drawing board and make up your latest lame write up to deflect this point.

3ball, at some point you have to face the facts that Luka has turned Lebron into an effective off ball player. What does that say about Luka?

Yep, this is exactly the kind of meltdown I was talking about.

The fact is, no matter how much you try to ignore it, that the Lakers are so stacked that they're probably winning the championship this year, with Lebron or without Lebron. Lebron is a non-factor, and maybe a net negative. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he's not a net negative this year, because he's actually been shooting pretty decently - except for in crunch time.

Still better than Lebron at 40 to be fair. :confusedshrug:

Pretty sure Kareem won FMVP at 38. Or 39 if you round up. Lebron's "longevity" is massively overrated. Statpadding with a bunch of uncontested baskets is only impressive if you're a Bronie fluffer.

Went from MJ to Kareem.

And I'm not sure why you keep making a fool of yourself with that "round up" stuff Both MJ & Kareem won FMVP at 35 and 38 even if you round up. Kareem was 2 months into being 38, MJ was 4 months into turning 35.

If anything LeBron was 36 if you "round up" considering he was 2-3 months away from turning 36 when he won FMVP.

Went to Kareem because I believe he's the oldest player to win it. Of course, if the Lakers win the chip this year, Lebron will get gifted the FMVP regardless of who deserves it. You know, helps push the narrative and all. And as far as 35-year old Jordan and 35-year old Lebron, there's really no contest between them. Jordan blows Lebron out of the water.

Probably figuring out how he gets Duncan, Iverson, Wade and wins bronze medal and then Wade, Melo, Dwight and bronze medal and then Shaq and loses in round 2 then Wade and Bosh and loses in the finals multiple times and then Kyrie, Love and loses in the finals and then Anthony Davis and gets upset by Suns and then Anthony Davis and Westbrook and misses play in and then loses in a 4 game sweep with prime Anthony Davis and then gets Luka who led his team to the finals the year before.
