Just shows how dumb the new gen of fans are. They have no idea how good Wade was and at best only know about Wade after 2010 when Lebron joined. It's wild how much I see people claiming Harden as the 3rd best SG of all time :facepalm
A heartless, intangible-less, flop king like Harden is no where near Wade at the end of the day.

Calm down dude, Wade has the tiniest prime of any ATG ever.
Dudes decline is a disgrace.

Dudes decline is a disgrace.People that know about Wade's career in know that earlier in it he had a knee operation to come back and play for the Heart sooner that left him with knee issues for the rest of his career. Since when are guys labeled a "disgrace" for losing athleticism to injuries?

Wade was even better than LeBron from 2005-2011, no way should he be ranked below Harden.

So yeah, this is an easy one. The illusion of Harden's true greatness, the peel-back of the curtain so to speak, was the annual drop-off from regular season to playoffs. It's so weird that there's 'season' and 'play-off' referring to cause such variances, but it very clearly shows whose game is built on a foundation that lives up to the moment, and whose is built off the back of rule manipulation. It got so flagrant at one point that defenders actually put their hands behind their backs just so Harden couldn't hook his arm into them and draw fouls. Not doubting the guys talent, but could barely watch him play with the incessant foul-baiting. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I always saw past the numbers with him with what he was actually doing.

Wade is a better player than Harden because he generally raised his game in the playoffs while Harden shrunk. That said, Harden is still underrated by some people.

loss of athleticism made Wade become a passive bitch that scored 3 pts in b2b finals games :lol

Harden's a better shooter & a passer/playmaker than Wade and had more longevity. All-time I'm taking Wade because of his Playoff track record but Harden hard carried the Rockets year after year, and while he did choke on a few occasions he also could've won championships if not injuries to himself & his teammates (2018, 2021). Overall they're close to me but Wade stepped it up in big PO moments and was in a different league defensively.

I can see it, but I also don't care if you rank Harden over Wade or Wade over Harden. I feel like every generation has a Shooting Guard that could be ranked ahead of other shooting guards but nobody really wants to do the work so they just obsess over the binary discussions like this.
70's - Maravich
80's - Gervin
90's - Miller
00's - Iverson
10's - Wade
20's - Harden
I hate to break it to you guys but any of those combos could be ranked ahead of anyone else. They all did something to deserve rankings of the others. 1-2-3 is clearly MJ, Kobe, and West after that it's solely based on how you interpenetrate what the players did.
