Take Pippen. Take Latrell Sprewell. Hell take Reggie Miller. Gary Payton had enough personality. We don’t even need to talk about Hakeem and Shaq as options. Shore up the perimeter. Get some defense.

I’m not certain who I would take if I’m an invading alien right now building my roster. I’m gonna give it some thought. Luckily I’m untainted by the choices in the more recent space jam, which I made every effort to avoid as a matter of principle.

The aliens themselves were tiny, but they shape shifted into comedic approximations of the people who’s talents they stole. I think the Muggsy one was relatively tiny. I think I’m gonna actually watch space jam this weekend. I know it’s objectively terrible but I’m not watching it to watch a good movie.

Jokic is the best center but Wemby covers the fun giant one requirement plus he’s a valid pick when you want defense this time. So they take Wemby.

At the 4 for villain personality you take Draymond but…I’m trying to conquer earth and have star power. I’m putting Giannis at the 4.

The point is gonna be Steph partly to keep him from the Earth defenders and partly because a modern game for the world would have a lot of threes.

The 2 might be Ant to have another shit talker but really you have plenty of options at 2-3. SGA /Tatum/Leonard. They get his talent so Leonard always being hurt isn’t an issue. You could get some mileage making jokes about him having nothing to say the whole movie too.

Anyway i'd have Jokic, Holmgren, Doncic, Herro and Giddey as monstars. I'd make a jewish NBA owner the hero. Not sure what it would be about though. Does it have to be about basketball?
