Curry really can pull off a 2010 Kobe and firmly cement himself into the top 10 all time with another ring/FMVP. I have that much confidence in a renewed Steph and Playoff Jimmy.
Also shoutout to the Warriors org. Ever since Curry was drafted, the Warriors org got him Klay, Dray, David Lee, Bogut, Iggy, Kevin Durant, Andrew Wiggins, and now playoff Jimmy Butler. Curry has rarely spent any time without the Warriors constantly retooling via draft and massive free agents/trades.

They've got a real shot at beating OKC and Cleveland, Denver and Boston will be tough but look one Jokic injury, Boston gets knocked out, GS has a shot.
This post season is really going to come down to matchups. I think they lose to Denver but Denver might not be able to beat The Lakers.

They have a good shot. OKC is a tough team for anyone in the NBA to beat in a series period.

They can not.
They are hyping up the Warriors, because they want to maxx the ratings on a potential playoff series between the Lakers & Warriors. Heard it here first. Both those teams will get very friendly whistles if needed in the first rounds, to make sure the league gets the ratings & what comes with that.
Silver wants it bad enough to faux-ment it.

No one is hyping the Warriors. They are 10-2 in their last 12 games without Kuminga and scored a potentially massive playoff piece in Jimmy Butler. Quinten Post has been a nice addition too.
They are clearly legit darkhorse contenders now.

Lol they better wish that something bad doesn't happen to him. Because he's what's keeping them running atm.

Are they really that good?
I havent watched them much but Im wondering how the GS of the whole year + Jimmy Butler / -Andrew Wiggins would be such a huge improvement that theyd now to be title candidates?
Theyre 10-1 with Butler but have mostly played lottery teams. The Bucks were without Giannis, the 2 best wins are over Houston and Sacramento. On the road.
I dunno.

It's pretty much impossible to win 4 series straight on the road. That would be expecting a peak Hakeem level title from Curry.
Although I will say if anybody can lay a beat down as the underdog it's Jimmy Butler. Led two Finals teams all on the road I believe. Although Disney bubble tournament didn't have home or road games really. He solidified it wasn't a fluke with the 2023 playoff run.

Butler is 100x better than Wiggins. He gives way more effort and is just an alpha player on a totally different level. Even at 35 years old. It's like comparing Chris Paul to cameron Payne or something.

In short, he's a much more clutch player in the playoffs than the gerbil curry. Interesting.

No one is beating a healthy Celtics.
It'll take an injury to beat Boston.

I think they're 12-1 with Butler right now. Insane. Imagine if he was on the team in his prime back in the day.

Their best wins remain the Rockets, Kings and Pistons.

Yea they still have a lot to prove. Need a center too, I don't know if small ball with Dray will work with bigger teams.
Drays passing to butler has impressed me recently though. I used to think he was just handing off to Curry and Klay but he's been feeding Jimmy incredibly too. Especially when Butler gets the seal on a front.
warriors have been playing nothing but bum teams lately, this is a stretch, first round exit at best.

They definitely pass the eye test in the games I've watched since they acquired Jimmy, even if their competition has been mostly subpar. Obviously, they aren't in the Celtics/Cavs/Thunder tier, but I'd say they are right there in that 2nd tier with LA/Denver and ahead of teams like NYK/Milwaukee.
They really are desperate to have that 6th seed. :oldlol:

They lack size. And size matters again, thankfully.
