Yes, I'm still concerned he'll sabotage Luka and the team for the alpha role and stats, but he is doing a great job, as of now, off the ball and he's letting Luka work. He was very clutch last night. His defense has been great recently.
Also, I like that he respects Redick as coach. Redick is obviously a basketball genius and I think LeBron has tapered his ego some to allow Redick to work. I don't think Redick is afraid to hold LeBron accountable and LeBron respects that.
I don't think they can win the title because they don't have a great defender down low, and when Reaves is bad, which he was last night, who else is going to be the third scorer consistently? They don't have another consistent offensive threat. I think Knecht should see more minutes because he can flat out shoot.
I also found it funny when LeBron confronted SAS last night.

Thing is with Luka you don't need another consistent shot-creator besides Lebron in 4th quarters. Doncic will find a way to get the ball to the role guys where they're wide open for shots. We saw this in Dallas when they played the Clippers and Doncic almost beat them multiple times with role guys. Dallas didn't have a reliable 3rd guy last year either but role player shined in big moments when Luka and Kyrie didn't have it.

Like Kobe, LeBron is maturing to be an ambassador of not just his own legacy, but as an aspiring owner, he is already seeing the full big picture, of being an ambassador for all involved.
He knows he will get enough subtle assistance at key moments in this playoff run and next, to get another title before he retires, and his son will be on the roster when that happens (as fake as that will be)
All that said, MF is still the Barry Bonds of basketball.

Because these media guys, especially SAS, talk mad shit all the time. Kwame went at SAS hard, too. These media guys can hurt careers and cause fraudulent reputations. They absolutely killed Luka after the Finals last year as if the Mavs ever had a chance with that talent differential. If I'm not mistaken, Dallas already beat 3 higher seeded teams to get to the finals. Dallas maximized that team. Luka averaged 29 on 47% while hurt, the next closest guy was Tatum with 22 on 38%. Media labeled Luka a fat loser that could never win a title and boom, he's traded because Dallas didn't want to give him a supermax. (IF the NBA didn't force the trade)
SAS talks so much shit and I liked LeBron getting in his ass.

Even if he's on roids, I respect his dedication. This shit is incredible at 40, regardless. And who knows how many others are roided up? We don't. I do know if he's on the juice, the NBA doesn't care and they'd never expose it.
Bonds should be in the HOF, IMO. So many players were juiced in that era. Hope Pete Rose gets in, too.

Lebron should definitely play a couple of seasons more with Luka, gracefully declining in role and go out as a role player scoring 15-20 ppg at age 42.

What SAS said about Bronny was 100% correct, and he says now that he stands by it. Good on him for not backing down.
Lebron can keep throwing bitch fits, but Bronny as of now is not a legit NBA player.

I'm actually a huge Lebron fan. However, I don't sugarcoat his many flaws like you and the other Bronie fluffers do. You'd be amazed how much your IQ could improve if you uncorked your head from his rectum. :lol

Lebron fluffers will have to accept that the Lebron haters were just rational and wanted to see Lebron play off ball which is a superior brand of basketball.

Yea I've mentioned this that Lebron is still in his prime... Basically retained 90% of his athleticism but is so much more reliable as a shooter. And has a certain veteran swagger he didn't have in his early prime. Nobody could've really predicted he'd be this good this long ahead and develop a sniper 3pt shot. Especially the last part.

Lebron's longevity is underrated because he has continously worked on his game, not by leaps and bounds, but lots of small things and his peak is overrated by his athleticism because he was nowhere near as well rounded as now.

That's what I'm saying. There was a legit trump card you could pull on "peak" athlete LBJ. What the Spurs did to him in 2007, Boston in 2008, Boston again in 2010, Dallas in 2011, almost Spurs again in 2013, and worst jumpshooting % in his Finals career in 2015. There was a way to cut his game off a little bit back then by daring to shoot. Now? I don't really see any way to limit him.

SAS is the most obnoxious sports talking head on the planet. Just constantly loud and stupid. It was nice to see Lebron put that little worm in his place.

On what planet? You need to watch some old film, he's way below 90% but when your 100% is like 200 compared to everyone else it's not as hard a fall. Hes offset it by using his body and mind more with his refined skillset. Instead of blowbys he's been putting guys on his hip and rolling them to the rim. Hes not jumping over everyone nowadays. He can still get up occasionally if he picks his spots but the biggest difference is his gas tank. He can't sustain it for several possessions in row anymore. That was his elite impact, the ability to "avalanche" teams with several plays back to back.

Justin you’ve always been a brother to me. But you’re starting to make too many excuses. You’re preparing in case of losing. No size or 3rd scorer? Again, how much help do you need? Just cuz you don’t have AD at center doesn’t give you the right to act like you need that kind of help. And you just said LeBron might sabotage Luca, but for now you’re gonna turn a blind eye and act like that’s okay.

Yeah this proves how shit the Mavs team was. Then again, it's probably true that no one wants to play there, but Mavs could have gone after Rui or Reaves and similar players.
