One aspect that bothers me about the boring three point shooting systems that are in today's NBA isn't just how boring they are, but the crazy ass long rebounds that come from them. Those long rebounds totally take away the aspect of getting positioning and boxing out when the balls bounces 90% back to the original shooter.

Love Al Horford but the Lakers flaws made life easier for him. With no real big to stop him the Celtics were able to use him as a post up that. If these teams meet in the finals the Lakers might just have to guard him with James in the paint. Also it's kind of funny how he was able to successfully guard Doncic on the switch. Doncic not being 100% is part of that but a big factor is also that Doncic is about guile and skill not speed and quickness Horford might be just as quick as he was tonight or even quicker thanks to his back or whatever it was. Horford can't keep up with a more conventional elite perimeter player but he isn't going to be fooled by Doncic and Doncic doesn't have the quickness so it worked.

As much as I hate the Lakers, I'd pick them to beat the Celtics in a 7-game series. There is a lot more to the Celtics than just three point spam. If you don't have a center(and the Lakers didn't) they have slashing scoring wings and bigs that can finish to fully take advantage of that flaw. But really you're only paying bs because of they do meet you want to act like a loses is some kind of big underachieving by James. In reality if James leads that team to the Finals or will probably have been one of the greatest postseason performances of anyone playing today. Winning without any rim protection against good playoff teams is a definite challenge.

Newer Suburbans have cheap interiors and are prone to cracking after 1-2 years. Biggest issues with those off the top of my head are brake issues (ABS) and and typical Chevy electrical issues (power lock failures, security system errors, etc).

Thats what I was thinking. In a short term series anything goes. You actually can win with iso if your scorers get hot. Team ball may generate better long term offense in the long run but in the short term anything goes.
