RIP, my condolences goes to his family and friends.

Incredible bootstrapping, not like wannabes nepo babies (trump, pretty much every jew in legacy media and hollywood)

Famously, Bridgeman made about $2.95 million in his NBA career and never more than $350,000 in a season. But after his career, he built a fast-food empire that, at its peak, totaled more than 450 restaurants nationwide. He became a Coca-Cola bottling distributor with territory across three states and into Canada. He bought Ebony and Jet magazines. He invested in NBA Africa.

In September, Bridgeman purchased a 10% stake in the Bucks, and in February, Forbes reported that Bridgeman's net worth had surpassed $1.4 billion.

Never heard of him? Giving your youth away there. He was a big part of the great Bucks teams of the early-mid 80's.

I'm 40 years old. I've watched the NBA since 1997 when I was 14 and it became my favorite sport. I don't know if 40 is considered young or not, but I've watched a decent amount of games. I've even lived in Wisconsin since 2003 and I asked my co-worker if he had knew him (who's a Bucks fan) and 42 himself and he had never head of him.

I've never heard of the media talk about him ever.

Never heard of him before he passed away. Watched a video of him talking about his business success. How he built trust in black communities where his restaurants were by bailing people out from jail who were wrongfully imprisoned. As someone mentioned, his net worth was reported as north of a billion dollars. He came across as a humble, smart guy.

He was part of a super talented East Chicago Indiana High school team that in 1971 ( I believe)went undefeated and won the Indiana HS tournament. The other 2 teammates on his HS squad were Pete Trgovich = went to UCLA to play for John Wooden, and Tim Stoddard = went on to play for North Carolina.
