Halfway through the second quarter, and so far OKC is getting it done. Good game.

Put the date in the title, so in the future we can look back and re-live all the classic momens that will be told and reacted to by the masses of posters on this forum that fill the game threads.

Tatum fouling and mad he didn't get the call? LOL. Regardless, that should not have been a T.
Also, refs aren't falling for SGA's foul baiting. Let's see if that continue in the 2nd half.

Tatum looks like a guy who makes 1st team All NBA every year.

Whenever Holiday shoots a three especially the last month I assume he'll miss it.

SGA is one of the most consistent guards I've ever seen.

Elite 3 level scorer with great shot selection. Recipe for consistency right there. Plus has the friendliest whistle I've seen of any star this year which def helps.

OKC is the best defense the Celtics have faced, all things considered. There are more experienced teams but ignore the value of defenders like Dort and then the difficulty Holmgren and Hartenstein (took the knicks toughness with him) at your peril. Tosss in an excellent go-to guy in SGA and that's a great team. If they meet in the Finals I'm just thinking/hoping that Mazzulla didn't want to show them what he really might do.

The Celtics took 94 shots tonight. 63 of them are threes. This is why they give up so many big leads. They'll explode like they did on the Cavs, then go completely cold and let teams back into the game. That didn't happen in this game, but I feel they overshoot threes when they're cold versus going to the basket.

Boston getting spanked on their home floor. Need Zingis back.

In the first half the Thunder set their defense to force more threes and the Celtics didn't even make a two in the first quarter. Then they switched it up in the second half.

Boston getting spanked on their home floor. Need Zingis back. Do you think they never lose a game with Porzingis in the line up? He does make them a better team but the team isn't just about him.

Not sure why you mentioned the lead thing. I clearly said "That didn't happen in this game", in this game the threes are what kept them in it, but also the lack of made threes is why they couldn't get ahead because they'd go cold again instead of getting higher percentage shots.
They'll literally live and die by the three and they're the definition of the term. If the win the Finals, it'll be because of the three. if the lose it'll be because of the three.

Last year they averaged 42 and now it's 48. The attempts have been huge for a long time. Just as if not more important is Brown having a bad game and fouling out and surrendering 118 points. If they lose there will be a number of factors that contribute even though some people will last focus on threes as of they didn't just win a championship taking over 40 per.
OKC might actually be a bad match up for Boston or am i overreacting? The Thunder don't have a seal for the Killer Whale offense to hunt and they remind me of Jimmy's Heat in how they disrupt the Celtics
