So it looks like the Lakers are about to lose their 4th game in a row. And Luka is going to sit out. So the way it seems to me is that Lebron or Luka sit games out due to the tough schedule and the Lakers fans use that as an excuse. Then when they come back and win on the easy schedule, they only count those games and act like all the other losses never happened. So these 4 games don't count? Use every excuse in the book and talk about Luka's 45 points. But when their schedule is easier all of a sudden, then that counts when they win some games?

Remember when Jokic swept the Lakers? They acted like that didn't count because each game was close. So that's what the Lakers fans do. They only talk about the games they wanna talk about and the rest of them don't count.

I mean this is getting so bad that when the Lakers lost to Boston, they talked about how the Lakers came back and Boston tried so hard. So whenever the Lakers don't get it done, it never counts. There's always some kind of reason to explain why things didn't go as planned.

This might be the first time I root for LeBron in the playoffs since his first stint in Cleveland. His transition to playing off ball has been pretty impressive, then there is the 40 thing.

And having played pickup ball up until 40 I have at least some understanding of how hard it is to play an NBA schedule at that age. There is a reason so few have done it and actually played well.

Because the Lakers made an idiotic move and rescinded the Williams trade. With Davis gone and with Hayes injured, they have a massive hole at center. Len is the weak link on an otherwise stacked team. You'll see though - once Hayes comes back they'll start winning again.

I think Denver took their foot off the gas when the lead got big. And, of course, if you blink in the 3-point era, things can go sideways pretty fast. With both teams fully healthy, I'd give the edge to the Lakers in a series, but if Denver has home court it's way harder for them.
