CP3's best statistical season better than Nash MvP years. NBA needed to give Kobe the MVP award after the Lakers finished with the best record in the West. Hornets won 56 games in 2008. Lakers won 57 games.

Needed? He had the better team for the majority of the season and ended up with the worse record. They played for the MVP in April before the season ended and the Lakers won with KB dominating with a 29/10/8 performance.

Lol I’d hardly call that dominating.

But regardless..yes I think Kobe deserved the 08 MVP. Paul had an amazing year though.
