Fast forward to today and the Lakers were glad to get rid of him up at age 28 for a guy like DFS. This dude's game never really developed. What's crazy is Jordan Clarkson might really have turned out to be the better NBA player.

Y'all think he was never that talented? Or just never developed?

The bum isnt a head case at least. An awful excuse for a basketball player though

It shows the value of valuing defense. If he had committed himself to playing hard on that end from the start of his career he be an excellent roleplayer. Because he didn't he's only helpful when the shot is falling. More players should realize they can build a great career that way.

Another guy that still doesnt get it either

DLo discusses what’s missing from the Timberwolves: “No offense, because I’m in it right now, but like, when I watch their team I’m like, ‘You know who they need? KAT.’ And then I’m like, ‘Yo, they need me.’ Like, honestly, I’m like they need what they got rid of.” 2 days ago – via reddit

Tbh though when he made the all-star game he was averaging 21 ppg on 19 shots and 53%TS, far from impressive numbers. He also killed the Lakers in both Denver series, he was absolutely abysmal. The guy obv possesses talent, but he's not someone I would want on my team, he can't score on an efficient enough clip, he's not a good defender, and he doesn't possess a high bball IQ.

Who was his coach that year?
