Musk announced that he is stepping down from DOGE in May. Chopping $1 Trillion in jobs in just a few months time. I'm sure it was all well thought out. :facepalm

This in conjunction with the tariffs is going to drive us into a huge recession. And on top of that the housing market is about to collapse. It needs to collapse honestly but there is a lot of pain and layoffs that come with that. It is shaping up to be the perfect storm for a Great Depression.

this musk guy lmao. man how the *uck are you gonna take responsibility for a government job of that kind of magnitude only to "step down" four months later? regardless of how good or bad of a job you're doing at least finish the job.

I suspect one of the things Musk figured out in this venture, especially when he discovered the "magic money computers", is that there is no actual savings in all of this. It is just money that the Government prints up out of thin air. People like to believe that this is our tax dollars but it isn't. The Government only collects taxes to keep inflation in check. And that is the ONLY thing DOGE will reduce here, inflation. Less money being thrown into circulation. And that is great in times of high inflation, the Fed wants to "turn off the water hose". But the reality is, we aren't really saving anything, we are just printing less.

And now the problem DOGE faces? Everyone wants to know "what are you going to do with that $1 Trillion savings!!!!???" Not understanding that DOGE didn't actually gather $1T in saved money. So he is going to have to directed that printed money onto something else to make the American people happy. Give everyone a DOGE savings stimulus check or something. Which will actually produce the same amount of inflation and arguably be less efficient than where it was to begin with.

once you accept that even fake tits are only allowed on biological and mental females, that efficiency is through the roof.
