jeff ran this forum into the ground when he let insane trolls run wild here for years... people dont wanna check these forums out anymore eventually. its traffic in the now but you pay for it in the long run.

Some marquee matchups don't even get GT's. I wonder why the haven't opened registration to new posters for what seems like years now. I can't recall seeing a poster with even a 2022 join date, let alone a more recent one.

I think it's moreso nobody cares about the Rockets. But regular season is kinda dead. Playoffs it willpick up.

Because every time Jeff opens registration, the bots come marching in and start flooding the forum with spam. On the other hand, if he keeps it closed, the active poster pool just continues to dwindle.

What he really needs to do is open registration and add a mod or two, but he has proven consistently over the years that he does not care to add mods. I remember somewhere around 10 years ago now there was an uproar asking for more moderators, and he made a post or two indicating he would be adding some but never did. Too much of an "I'll get around to it" type of thing.

The forum will pick up when the playoffs start but going forward there does need to be open registration. Some of the most active posters here came in the last open registration round or two (Axe, etc).

I figured registration was closed because of people like RRR3 and Axe creating dozens of alts.
