They can't have players going out publicly brandishing guns irresponsibly and making gestures like he has done given his past behavior hurting the brand or image of the league. No one would care if he didn't work for an organization that has children as a large part of their fanbase. It sends the wrong message if they let shit like that stand. I don't want kids making gun gestures at each other during elementary or high school games. These kids look up to players like Morant and they'll copy that behavior.
