Doncic could be pretty darn good if he was in shape. NBA players should not look like High whey. All that hard breathing must take a toll on him. Even though he’s 26, he doesn’t feel 26. He’s a professional athlete and should take a little more pride in his nutrition and conditioning. Hard to watch such a young guy in discomfort all the time, always being winded and having a hard time just to smile and catch his breath. Even when he makes a 3, he jogs back like he just got out of the ocean.
If he started working out and eating a little better, he could really extend his career and not have to labor so much out there. It’s the reason why he couldn’t win the finals last year despite having Kyrie Irving.

Tatum & KD couldn't win with him either, only LeBron is capable of that.

Will be interesting to hear what actually goes on with Luka at some point.
Plays like shit against GSW, looks tired and injured, then explodes against OKC and looks fresh and athletic.
He looks like someone with an undiagnosed condition or as someone who hungover sometimes. I haven't heard anything about either, but it is weird.
It can also be that he just doesn't have the tank for an 82 game season, many euros have struggled with this. A lot of NBA players probably use EPO and similar. I am not saying Luka should get on that, but all things considered, then a small dose of blood doping is probably not the worst.

Probably because while he got fatter his numbers got better over the years so people didn't care. Looks like the Mavs' FO did though. He'd be better for sure if he cut about 10 pounds and I'm hoping Lebron will convince him to do that in the off-season.

If Doncic comes in next season looking the same way that's just what he's always going to do which is play his way into shape during the season the way Shaq did, but then at the same time risk a higher chance of injury.
