Almost every win a blowout and the 3 they lost were close games.
Kawhi 25 @ 59%eFG
Harden 26 @ 56%eFG
Why is no-one talking about this?

Playoff matchups will be everything. They gave Dallas the most trouble in the West last postseason. They can beat anybody if Kawhi is healthy. Harden's scoring is too reliant on the high variance of threes and fouls, and Norm can't create for himself. Zubac can only get so many post touches.
Leonard is the key. They need his steady mid-range jumper when the high-leverage moments arrive. Broken plays, late shot-clock, tempo control, in the clutch.

Never going to be high on Harden. He's declined as an offensive player, still good but not elite and as a defender he's always been terrible. So he gives you a guy to attack on the perimeter. Leonard is great up until he gets injured. And then he is not there. Does he play a whole round, or two rounds? Maybe, so based on that they'll be tough early on. But it's been established that it's hard for him to stay healthy. Norman Powell is a good player but overall this is not a team to pick to win the West. You just don't want to deal with them while Leonard is playing.

They have virtually 0 chance at a title because kawhi will eventually sit out or Harden will choke, but in the 1st round they have a punchers chance of knocking anybody out.

Harden is basically Westbrick status offensively as far as his scoring goes and until Kawhi finishes a Playoff run healthy I'm not gonna be high on him either. That being said they're good enough to beat anyone in these Playoffs IF healthy with how Zubac and Norm Powell have improved this season. ZuPac has averaged 20/13/3 1.2 blocks on ~65% shooting since ASB and Harden's improved his FG% (42.7) and his 3PT shooting (36% on 9.3 3PA) since ASB as well but we've seen Playoff Harden have 2-3 really bad games in a series every year so they need to overcome that with their defense.

They are the most dangerous team in the 1st round but they will not go further than 2nd round for obvious reasons.

I was hoping they'd be in the play-in, and somehow get OKC in the first round. I think they could give them a good run.
Currently, if things stay the way they are, if they take care of Denver in R1, they get OKC in the 2nd round.

Because they've seen this movie before from Kawhi and the Clippers.

There are other hot teams in the West too like Golden State and Minnesota. Lakers with Luka also a bigger story.
Like most others, I just don't trust Kawhi to stay healthy for this team to make a run. I hope I'm wrong. I would be overjoyed if the Clips made a deep run.

You'd frankly have to be an idiot to expect Kawhi to remain healthy in the playoffs, he's gotten hurt 4 straight years and has played 4 games total the last 3 years. Ditto expecting Harden not to implode as he's done going on nearly 15 years now.
Even if you're proven right and they make a deep playoff run, you'd be going against years of evidence that says the contrary.
Fraud ass team. Ty lue is shit.

It's all about Kawhi, of course.
If he somehow, someway, stays healthy, they're a legit danger to any team in the tournament.

If Kawhi had stayed healthy, they'd probably have several rings as a group, but Kawhi can't stay healthy so yeah.
Still wouldn't want to meet them in the first round. Kawhi is good at destroying runs.

Make that 17-3
To echo what others have said, no-one wants to be playing them in the 1st round. Both LA teams are by far the scariest in the league right now.

Cs would respectfully beat the crap out of either of them and have much bigger issues dealing with the Thunder.

Make that 18-3
Kawhi is healthy. They'll be the Chippers in two months.
They're not going to win any shit deep in the playoffs.

They are the best team in the league There are a lot of teams that have some very good 20 to 25 game stretch. Most of them don't win a championship. The Clippers haven't done nearly enough to show themselves to be better than the Celtics. This recent stretch that has you hig on the Clippers? The Celtics have a record that's just as good, it's just not noteworthy because for them it's just some games in the regular season. 60 win team isn't sweating small sample sizes. Should these two teams be fortunate enough to meet in the Finals the Celtics will have Jaylen Brown destroying Harden on both ends, solid defense from the all-d guards on Norman Powell and then Tatum will make sure that Leonard has to work hard on both ends, though I will concede that Kawhi Leonard isn't a guy that gets shut down like Brown will do to Harden. On the other end I don't see how the Clippers stop the overall Celtic attack with Porzingis being a major problem for them to deal with, hitting threes when left open and killing guards in the post on forced switches. If the Clippers throw the needed manpower at Porzingis you will then see Tatum or Brown get completely destructive and there isn't a better outlet with the game on the line than Derrick White. The Celtics will be bringing the sixth man of the year plus a number of good shooters off the bench, and those guys ask lap defend. The record is excellent for a reason.
There is no relevant regular season match up to point to because of course the Clippers' best player didn't play but in general the Celtics have good reason to be a confident team.

Kawhi gonna average 33 a game and then we get a random shams tweet about another Kawhi ACL injury in the middle of the series lol. Hoping not but at this point it has to be expected.

What we expect Leonard's knees to do in about 10 games.
