Nba fans said his stats were inflated...bla bla bla...They let him grab defensive rebounds on purpose...bla bla bla. He's 6 ft 4, which is more impressive than what Jokic was able to accomplish this season, imo. Everything goes through Jokic in order for the Nuggets offense to function. I mean he's 6 ft 11, he will grab rebounds and with DHOs (not that I'm trying to discredit his passing prowess here).

Jokic should not win MVP and he won't. Thanks to SGA Jordanesque type season. 72 straight games scoring 20+pts. Leading the youngest team in the NBA to the best record. He's the MVP period.

Without SGA, the Thunder still would have home court advantage going into the playoffs. Without Jokic, the Nuggets would be a favorite to get Cooper Flagg. I think SGA will probably win the award, and don’t have that much problem with that- he is the best player on the best team, one of the traditional rationales. But the player who makes the biggest difference to his team in terms of winning is Jokic.
