EC Celtics vs. Hawks R1 would be very interesting

I hope this happens because the Hawks are somewhat of a thorn in the Celtics eye.

The Hawks have won the last 2 meetings. But thats not it. This has been an even match-up since the 2020/2021 season.

The Hawks have won the last 2 games and 4 of the last 5 (2 in OT). Celtics barely lead the H2H since 2020/2021 with 8-7, when the Hawks started getting good.


So I really hope the Hawks win in Orlando to set it up.

It doesn't matter without Jalen Johnson though. Hawks don't have their best player.

Both teams have really been a thorn in the Celtics side recently.

I'd personally rather play the Hawks. We should take them out in 5. The Magic I can see matching our physicality and pushing it to 6 or even 7.

We'll be sure to drop one of the first two at home like we always do.

Oh right... I was thinking about Orlando but didnt think it was significant to look up. I should have.

Magic have won 2/3 this year, went 1-2 last year and 3-1 in 2022/2023! Which is when they started showing signs of becoming good.
