I want everyone on record with who they think is greater all time. This is peak Jokic vs what we all can agree is a post peak kawhi. Not in a bubble but a real series with no *

These are 2 = teams. So its no excuses. Harden is a shrinker and Murray is a big game player. Before you can even get the excuse out of your mouth... Murray averages more ppg than harden in the playoffs

votes are public so you will have to stand on who you vote for.

I cant wait to see how this series pans out

Kawhi’s injuries was one of the worst things for the NBA.

Healthy Leonard could easily been a top 10 player of all time.

Jokic. More regular season MVPs and he is more dominant on the court. Yes, Kawhi has got more rings but he was always coasting/resting in the regular season and the feeling is that he could have done so much more without injuries.

Right now I think they're very close to each other in terms of all-time standing. I do not value RS MVPs that much in terms of how it impacts all-time rankings. Peak for peak I think Kawhi's the better player. He could match Jokic's scoring and was also an elite rebounder and a solid playmaker, and while Jokic at best is an average defender, Kawhi's one of the best ever at his position.

Jokic, too many injuries for Leonard.

Ah this explains why the Nuggets won today. The modern day konex strikes again

Easily Jokic. In terms of peak play? In today's NBA it's Jokic but in the 90s I'm taking Kawhi. Peak Kawhi > peak KD imo. Less explosive offensively but absurdly consistent and GOAT tier perimeter defender.

It's a stupid question to begin with. The injuries aren't Leonard's fault but how could he possibly be better than Jokic? He's missed several playoff series, a ton of regular season games and even a whole season.

I think it does go overlooked that the game itself changed a lot since Kawhi was on top of the NBA world before the injuries.

Star players are asked to pass more now, and hes not great at it. The midrange is also not very effective in keeping up with dunks and threes. Hes never been ELITE finishing at the rim. And hes a very consistent outside shooter but in limited volume. Hes not gonna run up 50 points on a bunch of stepbacks the way other players are doing more now.

You cant just iso midrange your way past teams that bomb threes and finish at the rim these days. Obviously Kawhi is still a very good player but even healthy and at his best he may not have the impact now that he did in the 2010s.
