It doesn't appear to be attached to a criminal complaint yet. He might get canceled but whether or not he loses the case is another question. Nonconsensual sec with a girlfriend or wife happens but unless they come with some damming photos of abuse or strong third-party testimony is likely just his word vs hers. Which may also be why they're just going for the money in a civil case and not the higher standard of criminal court. I get all of that and you're not wrong but Kblaze when he is here has no problem locking egregious threads and it is effective. We all have seen it. Jeff has made it very clear that almost no bans are issued and the ones that are probably won't stick. Fine. Nobody is saying get rid of the posters. What I am saying is deter them from spewing the garbage by locking or deleting the thread. There were actually a few years of moderating this site without the ability to ban. Some jackass could would and did put up the same garbage threads over and over just as fast or faster than I could delete them. If we don't ban I am basically chasing all of those insects to step on them individual out with my shoe. I'm not going to moderate this forum against the owner's will.

I have just not often. I entered my semi retired/do what I feel/travel era during the back end of Covid when there wasnÂ’t much travel in general. I was in New Orleans the very day the restrictions lifted by complete circumstance. We were walking around out there with maybe 15 total other people on Bourbon Street the first day it opened up and all the shop owners were so excited. They were catering to everyone personally walking them to their places. Gave me a really wrong first impression of what the French Quarter was. I had come through years earlier, but not to really stop and have a good time.

once I didnÂ’t really have anything to do, I just started gradually making my way to places. You can four or five hours drive your way across the country and back and stay a week or two in interesting places pretty easily.

I love San Diego. I could fly to San Diego or since I have unlimited time, I can go from here to Nashville or Memphis for a show…. Shoot down to Dallas for a week and go to some of my favorite restaurants. Go to San Antonio for cinco de mayo. Stop in El Paso for a nightÂ…go to Phoenix…then California.

I can be gone for two months if I feel like it. So I dont really take traditional trips. I just have a general direction and I get there when I get there. Not like I’m planning out an itinerary. I ended up in Denver for a week last time when I only intended to go to Louisville.

I was away from home for about three months at one point last year. There was no particular plan to it.

The complete lack of planning is why I rarely think to go international. Rest assured, Illinois, some people in my life as well.

If I touchdown in Europe I’ll probably be there for eight months.

Kind off-topic but not completely, a friend of mine who just had a baby with this crazy chick few months ago is probably getting fired from his job because of their insane relationship. He's had to miss a number of work days over drama and the latest shit was her calling him up while he was on his way to work to tell him that she was throwing all of his shit out of their apartment. A few weeks ago she gave his dog away to a complete stranger. She had told him she is going to take away everything he had, which can't be much with how she keeps him from working. Crazy how a might with the wrong woman can **** up your life forever. Friend should especially know better because he already has one baby mama that gives him problems, although with her it was just about money she wasn't just trying to ruin his existence for fun.

He has likely been cheating on her but she should realize that she can't get any child support if he can't keep a job. Dumping him would be understandable. But she's just on some burn in hell together shit.

And before anyone brings it up, yes, two people can be in a relationship living together and one has the other on child support. It sucks and poisons everything but it can happen.

As far as your buddy I don’t see how someone lives with another person that has them on child support unless I’m reading this wrong. The moment you get out on child support we are no longer living together. So clarify is the chick who sold his dog, threw his stuff out and called him while he headed to work etc etc has him on child support? Or she is going to get him on child support? I’m confused.

If he was indeed cheating on the chick he had a kid with a couple months ago? He pretty much made a bed he has to sleep in. Is she going to the extreme? Of course. Would him not having a job mean he can’t pay her child support? That depends honestly. He would have to get whatever agreement/order he is supposed to pay modified. Even if he did t start paying yet and lost his job he’s not off the hook from paying child support. A situation like this I don’t think she is pressed for the money or how he figures out how to pay. Her goal is to ruin his life. And child support is no joke. Because the notion that I don’t have a job now because of you so you don’t get money? That ain’t how it’s going to work. And when you get a new job? Taxes won’t be the only thing you’ll be upset about. Down the road she may care about some financially assistance from him for the child. But right now she’s in an emotional rage and knows the child support system favors her. And it’ll be a headache for him amongst other things.

We just got to make better decisions as men because it will affect our livelihood in many ways. Not worth the stress, aggravation, money, time etc in the long run. Sucky situation.

A you may know, any time a woman has custody of one of your children she at least partially owns you. One of the worst things to have to deal with is someone raising your child that hates you. Never had to deal with any of that myself but I know a lot of guys that have had various kinds of relationships with their kids' mothers. And when it's bad it's awful. If I'm being honest, half the time I'm sick of hearing at least one of my kids whine. But I know dudes that haven't been allowed to see their son or daughter for months on end, lost their license because of delinquent support payments, have kids that have been turned against them, and that all just sucks. Midst of not all of these dudes aren't just innocent victims of malicious women but just talking about their situations, I would put up with it if my wife went crazy one day and decided to put me on child support. Because being a part-time dad that has to go to court to see their kids every other weekend so that they can tell you how they hate you and misses their mom? That has to suck bad. Having said that the baby mother at the root of this story is crazy enough that he better leave before he gets his throat slit in his sleep. But if we're just talking about the government taking out a few hundred every week (I don't know what my child support would be) I would settle for telling the wife of from time to time for being stupid and just sick or to and deal with it.

In this specific case our network of friends includes guys with links to unskilled labor where you can get paid under the table. Guys that do moving, basic furniture assembly, stuff like that. I don't think those dudes are making a living wage (especially with how expensive Boston is) but but if he can't keep a regular job and what little he could get legitimately is being taken away? It's unfair to the kid but he's being pushed in that direction.

This particular friend can't seem to let go of his 20s. Our friend group is generally in the 40+ range. Some of us have baby mommas but normally it's only one outside of the wife and the guy partner from the experience (or in my case I see how other dudes are suffering and learned from the bad example). But this particular friend still goes clubbing 3 nights a week and comes home late afterwards. Such behavior could upset a woman unset any circumstance and when she's watching your 1 or 2 month old son while you go out at night? I get it, he's ****ing up. But it's a "chicken or the egg" situation. I'm not sure what came first, her being nuts or him partying again after the kid was born. But in the end he shouldn't be partying at all simply because he had a kid. I know I have only gone to sports bars, no dance clubs since I started having kids.
