These guys are always doing winning things in big games, and nobody is ever trying to hang onto them. They get small contract offers and traded at practically every deadline, often as throw-ins to make bigger salaries match.

Meanwhile teams make big commitments to Kyle Kuzma and Ben Simmons. Guys who are male ditzes and bimbos with no competitive energy.

Just so weird how backwards things are in the NBA some times. I feel like so many organizations either dont think intangibles are even a thing, or they have no idea how to identify them from one player to another. The put so much emphasis on superficial, overrated qualities, vs the things that really separate winners and losers.

Agreed. Said this several times myself too.

Teams either don't care about Schroeder at all or do stupid things like trying to start him with Curry rather than use him for what he is.

I mean Batum has had pretty big stints with his teams actually, although its weird the Sixers sent him right back to the Clippers after 1 season.

The only interesting thing there is that he stayed on the Hornets for 5 years, and no contender made a play for him.

They're roll players. That's what happens to them until they find their niche in a winning situation.
