View Full Version : Curry/MJ don't get "developed" - teams can only develop guys into klay/pippen-caliber

And even that requires a 1st option that puts the ball in Pippen or Dray's hands and lets them develop.. So the 1st option must have a skillset that is highly-assisted by teammates, since that puts the ball in Pippen and Dray's hands and allows them to develop.. These highly-assisted skillsets are bigman skillsets and jumpshooters like Duncan, Curry and MJ, who developed several guys into Pippen/Klay/Parker-caliber.

Meanwhile, skillsets that aren't assisted by teammates and score mostly unassisted (ball-dominators) turn everyone into spot-up shooter, which is why Luka and Lebron never developed anyone and prevent elite roster construction.

Curry is the most overrated player in history. He relies on today's high-screen, drive-and-kick strategy.

This strategy allows 3-point shooters to stand and wait for kickouts, thus adding to the attempts they get off-the-dribble or off screens - if Curry had to run off screens with a defender stuck to him like Reggie Miller had to do, he would barely get off 5 theees a game..

Curry actually took 5 threes a game for 3 straight years and was a 19 ppg scorer, but then the league strategy became the aforementioned 3-point contest, which allowed Curry's production to reach elite levels.

Ultimately, he's just a 3-point shooter, so he's 1-dimensional.

Curry just needed a ball movement system to bring out his best stats and jumpshooting prowess, and the rest was history... Every coach in the league has a ball movement system in their back pocket, so it didn't take long for Curry to get a ball movement system that he could produce a dynasty with..

Lebron turned an undrafted white guy into a better player than Pippen.

Case closed, thread closed.

You called him the most overrated player ever after he had won 3 titles flourishing in the same ball movement system you're touting here. Kudos to you though on reversing that claim two months later during the off-season.

Don't take my reply as an attempt at genuine engagement. It's been a while since I pointed out how fukking retarded you are.
