Doesn’t look good.
Possible tailbone fracture.
Or rear pelvic fracture.
Steph doesn’t look like he’s got a positive outlook.

Upon closer inspection,
it appears Draymond, while battling for rebound position,
may have slung/swung Thompson under Jimmy.

At best it was Amen being clumsy. At worst he got a nudge and dove to sell it.
Probably closer to the first. Either way **** him.

I’ve had falls like that where I was down bad. Trying my everything to not be embarrassing and make a scene and still can’t get up. Also had times where was able to hop back up and still play a bit. It all depends on how you fall on it. Either way though, tomorrow he’s gonna feel like he got hit by a truck.

Amen was going for the rebound, was shoved by Adams, who was also shoved by Podjiemski, and lost his balance.

Pj was so sick that he couldn’t move adams if he wanted too
he had a 0 0 0 kuzma statline in almost 10 minutes played before I turned it off, he was the walking dead out there.

Idk man. It sucks for sure but it seems just like an unfortunate play. I don't really think Amen is to blame here.

Have faith brother.
Jimmy is tough and this is a pain tolerance injury. Not like he snapped his acl or achilles and can't walk.
He will be back.

He'll miss game 3, I assume.
And depending on how Warriors do, (win) I'd sit him for game 4 as well.

I dunno. Might be too late by then. Didnt Giannis miss 2-3 playoff games with a tailbone injury either last year or the year before? And hes as determined a guy as Jimmy to be out in the court.
It's not exclusively a pain tolerance issue. You may not damage it further just by running around playing, but if he were to take a similar fall again while the injury hasnt had time to heal, it could really mess him up longer term. I dont think it's a risk you take.
But it's all good. Steph is the best player in the series. Right? Hes still a superstar. Right? ISH always tells me the best player will just win because best player. Teammates arent an issue. We just measure the best player by what team winned the game.
Steph will carry, Warriors got this. No problem.

You appear to be emotional again over the one known MAN dingo. And that's OK. I will be your therapy.
But just remember... what the Chef cooks up, the Butler serves. And Dray will kick you in the nuts. So **** off. :lol

I don’t know if you are trolling or just don’t realize the cast of dray, moody, podz, kuminga, the lacrosse player….oh can’t forget about gui santos….:lol….Isnt exactly a playoff caliber roster and Steph is 37 years old.
Trying to twist this into some sort of Steph Curry dig is just some weird shit. All I’m saying.

Im just going by the ISH standard.
If you are a 'The Superstar' then you win rings. Theres no other context to consider. Best player wins the series or he sucks.
Either Kawhi or Jokic will officially be an overrated bum who cant win after Rd 1. Same with Edwards and Luka. People will drop one of them down 15 places in the rankings for losing a first round series. Bc how could you be great if you dont winning the rings? You have to win Rd 1 to win the ring.
I didnt make the rule. The average ISH poster did. If the Warriors dont win this series, Curry sucks

And FMVP's..... plus Draymond trips Thompson which causes him to fall into Jimmy.

From looking at it, it looks like Draymond establishes position and goes into a box-out position making himself wide and Thompson runs his left knee/thigh into the back of Draymond knee while getting pushed by Steven Adams body from the opposite side from the back and just falls because of it.
I don't think Draymond did anything dirty (even though he does a lot of dirty shit) and I don't think Thompson sold contact. I think he legit fell off balance from those two things happening at the same time.

By the way Amen Thompson is speed running Draymond’s resume atm

I can see where people say Warriors fans don’t complain, but at the same time let’s not act like this is a first time thing for Amen, so Rockets fans need to shut the **** up and enjoy their W.

Amen is a hot head that is true. But that wasn't a dirty play. There is an angle that shows he was falling before Jimmy got up. He got stuck between players, got charged and tripped. It's unfortunate. Hopefully Jimmy will be back game 4 as G3 doesn't seem realistic atm.
One thing i hate though is the narrative that Warriors with Butler would have ran through Rockets. We beat them at the end of regular season when the game was pretty important. G1 was very close and most of the team had their playoff debut. They looked nervous in Game 1 shot all time bad and the game was still close. And as the youngest team vs oldest team we were going to get better as the series went on, since we are deeper too.

MRI came back clean. No fractures. I'm thinking / hoping they sit Jimmy in G3, and then see what the crowd can carry them to and get a win on their home court, and then bring him back G4.

I don't like Green more than anyone else, but this isn't on him. If anyone pushed Thompson it was Adams running into his right side/back area of Thompson.
Best angle and slowmo replay: https://x.com/Tannernichols0/status/1915389712140832976?t=uGoEeUMK1pZXEXxrwzoYSQ&s=09
-Thompson puts up his shot.
Adams jostles for rebounding position with Podz
Green widens his stance to box-out
Adams runs into the right side of Thompson
This causes Thompson's left knee/thigh to run into the back of Draymond's knee/leg
Thompson falls forward from getting sandwiched between the two
I don't think anyone did anything dirty here.
