1. Gordon & the Nuggets - Zubac held Gordon back from pummeling Harden and getting tossed from the game.
2. Harden - Zubac cleaned up a classic Harden playoff choke-job on that point-blank layup miss. If Zubac doesn't get that put-back, the game is likely over right there. And that missed bunny would follow Harden & his playoff reputation forever more.

For only $11mil, the whole Clippers organization owes this man drinks. He would be seen as a much better defender if he played in an era where post defense was more of a premium and has been putting up an ultra efficient 19/12 and made Jokic work for everything.

It's crazy to think about that Zubac held Aaron Gordon back from potentially taking a closed fist swing at Harden which would've been an ejection and probably suspension and Gordon was the reason for the closest buzzer beater in NBA history.

Ruthless speculation: are the Clippers better off right now if Zubac let Harden get hit? Risk of concussion vs winning last game and Gordon getting suspended for 3 games.

To elaborate on this, was Harden taking a close fisted swing at Gordon not suspension worthy since it didn’t connect? But yeah if he let Gordon swing series would be over, Nuggets need all the help they can get.

I don't think it was a closed fist? It looked like an open hand that poked him in the neck. Unless you're talking about something else?

That’s my bad then. I thought I saw closed fist.

I thought it was closed too when I saw it live. He swung so fast at him. Then on the replay I was like, "That's a weird way to swing then he pokes him in the neck with two fingers." :lol
