WASHINGTON − President Donald Trump's favorability continued to dip as he reaches 100 days of a second term − and voters weigh in on his approach to issues like the economy and immigration.
Trump's approval rating was 39% in a new poll from The Washington Post, ABC News and Ipsos released April 25. That's down six percentage points from a similar survey released mid-February.
It's the lowest approval rating for any president at their 100-day mark going back to Franklin D. Roosevelt's third term, according to the outlets.

I'm shocked at how high everyone else's approval rating has been at the same point. Trump's the only president who's failed to crack 55% approval 100 days into his administration, which he's done twice now. I thought Biden's would be in the 40's but even he was at 57%.

I mean, 100 days in is still pretty fresh off the election. He has been absolutely horrendous so far.
Biden inherited covid and the covid recession. Although many were furious about the inflation and aftermath of it all, everyone still understood that Biden himself was not the primary cause. And no one really blames Trump for covid either. Both Biden and Trump may have added fuel to the covid fire, but we all knew it was a world wide issue and not a US POTUS issue.
And TBH, The US, and Biden admin did a great job sticking the soft landing, and building it all back up again. Only for Trump to kick it right back down.

Presidential ratings were barely even a thing then. They didn't get really get meaningful until around Carter/Regan. FDR's rating was probably based on a single poll of 100 white dudes.

You didn’t even like Trump enough to vote for him, 0/10 trolling.

As for the FDR thing, the latest approval rating I could find was for his 4th term, so it's saying it's the lowest going back to his 3rd term since that was the last one they apparently didn't have the data for. Cause I was about to say, I'd be shocked if a guy who won election 4x would ever have an approval rating drop below 40% :lol

it's gotta be the tariffs causing that drop because the trump admin's immigration policies on their own, at least tast time i checked, was highly favorable (i know you're scurrying to check on that, OTC).
fdr's approval rating tanked because people people were obviously upset about receiving their ss checks.

Trump's Approval Ratings on Immigration
Numerous polls released this week show a decline in the president's approval rating regarding his handling of immigration.
An Associated Press/NORC poll conducted from April 17 to 21 showed that the president has a 46 percent approval rating compared to a 53 percent disapproval rating on immigration. The poll was taken among 1,260 people with a 3.9 percent margin of error.
A previous Associated Press/NORC poll, conducted from March 20 to 24, showed Trump with a 49 percent approval rating and a 50 percent disapproval rating on immigration. The survey was conducted among 1,229 American adults with a 3.9 percent margin of error.
The polls show Trump has slipped three percentage points in his approval rating from March to April. This is within the margin of error.

Country is like 50/50 on his immigration stuff but the economy is always #1 every time.

People voted for Trump for economical reasons, while that dude propagated tariffs since his first term. Does anyone who isn't living in Trump's jockstrap actually believe that tariffs benefit the economy?

weird mental gynastics
FDR was before anyone here was born, but somehow you have convinced yourself this is a net positive for Trump.
What a pathetic sheep you are. Trump could turn you into a slave and you would say "George Washington owned slaves! Trump is GOAT!" :oldlol:

No
hence his record low approval

Why do tarrifs even exist if they're useless and do nothing but hurt economies? Why have 80+ other countries administered tariffs for decades if there's zero benefit by applying them?

Decade old tariffs will of course not hurt the present economy. They will not increase inflation or cause any harm to stocks. They're already priced in, but pfc dropping them would stimulate more trade. See countries after they joined the european union.
Seriously. Do you think you're clever in any way?

Ya see, I don't give a shit about your Euro unions.
Maybe next time instead of sounding dumb by just saying "tarrifs don't help economies" you'll actually explain your point.
How are these tarrifs affecting you directly when you're across the pond? Something must be up for you to be so invested in how a country (you allegedly don't live in or pay taxes to) is run.

trump has promised cuts to the tune of 1 trillion dollars by Sept.
so far after 100 days it is 1.6 billion....
maybe he meant 1 trillion not in his life time.
But most presidents brag about generate more jobs to help the economy ,,
Well he has cut 268,000 government jobs ...
Maybe he thinks unemployment helps our country... :banghead::banghead::banghead:

His hardcore immigration stance is under water rn. I guess most Americans were cool with kicking out criminals as they should but maybe not so cool kicking out people with no priors and holding steady jobs for years contributing to the economy...

Tariffs work when used strategically aimed at aiding a particular industry...they don't work as great when using it like a blunt instrument and going up against literally the whole world. It's similar to amputation, it works to save lives when amputating a far beyond saving limb, not amputating every limb for the f*ck of it.

Ironic you calling others dumb. Especially when posting such an ignorant statement. Why should I make a lengthy post when you're obviously not capable to understand short ones and (again)ä obviously) lack the education to have a serious discussion on the matter.
Tell me how a euro from an export driven country isn't affected by the economical decisions of the econmy leading country in the world.

Trump won the election with less than half the vote.
Now he will never be able to get his approval ratings up to that 49%.

Don't worry though guys, I'm sure Trump is going down for real this time. The walls are closing in. You watch.

You think Trump ran his campaign on 2 genders? And you needed Trump in office to make that official for you?
This is the opposite of common sense and literally nothing has changed about anyone's gender.

Actually yes, the terms man and women need to be definable under law. You can't claim to advocate for women's rights without first being able to define what a woman is on the books.
Under normal circumstances no this wouldn't be an issue, but the democrats and the woke psychos went so far off the deep end with their insanity that they made it one.
Don't talk to us about common sense when your side can't even differentiate between a boy and a girl. :oldlol:
