What a dilemma LAL are in...

Guy plays like 38 yrs old. He is gonna be 27. overweight. slow. need to be hidden on Defense by other 4 guys.

Aint no way LAL should pay supermax of $75 Mil for this guy.

First of all, he is WHITE!. yes I said it. he is an excellent example of which color of athlete go down in their prime.

them european thin bones and buckets of lards of body fat both work against conditioning and against high endurance sport like Bball.

Luka is breaking down next yr (age 27) imo. if not. atleast from age 28 onwards. in 2027. His entire prime will be riddled with lower back, knee, ankle, shoulder injuries.

Why pay a guy who cannot play an ounce of defense a 75 million just to jack up 3 point shots. every NBA player can do that.

I say keep Reaves and Rui. Trade luka while you can. and get Giannis if LAL still can. LBJ is on his way out. Giannnis is atleast winning 1 more ring somewhere not named Bucks.

Luka for Giannis sounds real good right now tbh. Giannis is the most likeable superstar in the league and goes hard from the 1st quarter to the end of the game. Lebron to the Warriors for Jimmy and Lakers are cooking.

Luka should have stayed in Dallas, Nico should have never been GM.

Luka and Jokic are better for small market teams, the underdog where you can build a team of role players around them.

They're easily going to offer the max to him though. Luka is the best selling jersey in the league, he is the actual face of the NBA worldwide.

There is no question they are going to resign him. lol @people doubting this. With him they have got an iconic franchise player for the upcoming years. And he is a perennial all-star, by the way.

Because he was traded he can't get the supermax (a bad loophole). He has to be offered the full max and then there is some question as to whether or not he wants to stay there. He probably will but if he indicates that he's not willing to commit then it gets to hypothetical trades.

It's more likely that Luka leaves than Lakers doesn't offer.

I think Luka stays though and I think Kyrie joins him and Lebron next season or the one after. They zoomed in on Kyrie in game 5 in the stands.

Luka also has DFS and Kleber with him from Dallas in LA, they just need to go get some of his friends, maybe hire Boban on a small contract and some of the staff that was let go in Dallas.
