blown open dunk
blown breakaway layup
blown open 3 pointer
blocked easy layup.

He could have cut the lead to 4 pts with 3 mins left in the game.

all in clutch. how pathetic is this guy. cannot believe he was ever given season MVP.

I think coaches only play him to re-energize the team as he plays with full energy every min.

seen him literally after 5 years. He is still wild. out of control. walking liability on the court.

It's not like Jokic was doing any better in the clutch. Zubac was sonning him.

Its the backup point guard's fault! That's why we lost! 14/10/6 off the bench and shooting 50% from the field and 3 point line. ITS YOUR FAULT!

He and Powell had a dumb-off. Hijacking possessions and ruining flow with sprinting in half court in a game like this where refs are not calling shit.

Powell can just shoot so he can hide his utter stupidity better.

On the other hand Westbrook was passing better than Jokic in the second half and that's a real skill of his.

I still expect Westbrook to absolutely dog Powell and the Clippers role players in Denver.

I think this is the last time we'll ever see even close to prime Kawhi because athletes across all sports just fall off at the age 34 like clockwork, but Powell is dumb enough to run an entire good game of ball for me.

If Nuggets win all is good.

Why in the world any basketball fan who is not already a Nuggets fan would root against the Clips is unfathomable. The most epic thing ever would be Kawhi winning a third ring and jokers are like "Let's go Nugs".

He's a vet minimum player who put up 14/10/6 on 50% shooting in a close-out game, what more do u want from him?

Jokic is supposed to be the best player in the world and like top 5 all-time according to people on ISH but has been getting clamped by Zubac for most of the series.

Meanwhile Jokic is averaging less ppg/rpg/apg across the board with a huge decrease in efficiency as well from his RS but people are gonna shit on Russ lmao. If you need a 36 y.o Russ to be perfect in a series in order to win MAYBE you're just not good enough?

I think what the Nuggets have gone thru this season just makes you want to root for them more. Clippers on the other hand straight up quit in 2020. Handing Bron a free ring. Hard to root for these bums.

That vet min player is their 6th man. Their max player scored 5 pts with bad D and was -24 in a 6 point loss. Their 8th man is DeAndre Jordan. How have the Clippers not disposed of this team that has no coach? I can't think of a series where one team looked so much better than the other and it still went 7.

How have the Clippers looked "so much better" ?

They could have lost tonight if Jokic and Russ hadnt blown layups at the rim.

Actually, he deserved the MVP for averaging a triple-double and leading a bad team to 45 wins. But he is not the type of PG you want running your team when you are a contender, he is too selfish and impulsive, takes too many bad decisions down the stretch. I thought he would become more calm and savy with the years, but I was proved wrong. Also, after all the teams he has played for, it is strange he hasn't wondered about what is wrong with his game to be traded so often.

Leave my boy Russ alone. He had to deal with a couple of tough years with toxic teammates, now he's got the ultimate teammate that makes others better

How much credit or blame should be placed on a bench player? I think he's doing more than most PGs coming off of the bench. I know the expectations are high though...he was once an unstoppable force.

You're unintentionally right in that it is mainly with the GM and the coach.

But any player in the league that averages 20-30+ minutes per game can absolutely win or lose games by themselves, night in and night out.

The thing with Westbrook is that he can win you games and he can absolutely give them away in a spot where a literal average NBA player would have helped you win/hold onto the win.

There are few All-Star players if any, and literally no former MVPs that I can think of, that are like him in NBA history in that regard.
