Blunt has done some good stuff the last several years. What I'm most curious about is if Johnson can actually legit act in a movie that doesn't require him to play the same character arch-type over and over.

While he is playing a wrestler, it doesn't change the fact he'll need to convey actual real human emotions of his portrayal of Mark Kerr. Instead of being in an action flick.

Safdie's work is exceptional, Uncut Gems, and Good Times are exceptional films. And I've seen Rock peform very well in B-films like Snitch and Faster. But I'm not sure if this film is going to get the award push A24 thinks it'll get because of the whole taking a white guy in his 20's and recasting him as a 50 year old black/Samoan man.

Very curious to see Bas Rutten's performance as I think he's got legit acting potential.
