BREAKING: Gregg Popovich will no longer be Head Coach of the San Antonio Spurs and is transitioning full-time to Team President, sources told ESPN. The iconic Popovich is a Basketball Hall of Famer, the NBA’s all-time winningest coach, and led the Spurs to five championships.

I assumed this was probably going to happen.

He has nothing owed to this game anymore. He's one of the greatest NBA coaches of all time.

My favorite Pop moment is the Spurs doing hack-a-Shaq in the first game of the season because my knew Shaq hated it.

Has a rice crispy for a brain when it comes to politics but clearly the best coach of his era and belongs in the Top 3 all time discussion with Red and Phil.

I wonder if Chris Paul should step up as a player coach now.

GG to Pop, credit for keeping the old dream team together with Duncan, Parker and Manu, but nothing he has done since Duncan retired has been impressive.

Not the coaching, not the drafting, not the style of play.
