View Full Version : LeBron has been absolutely crushed in the West

Other than the Mickey Mouse bubble season it’s been proven that he was in fact dominating a weak conference most of his career.

The east was all time great bad during his finals run.
The real competition was out West.
He would've never made all those finals out west.
sucks that we dont get to see leGOAT or luka play another game this season
next year they will be a real threat. the last year of leGOAT's prime.

Until this playoffs I was going to rank Lebron higher, maybe even above Kobe, but now seeing how he failed Luka, I will go back to my original stance in that he is Karl Malone at SF.

the only comparison with karl malone is that they both played a long time
lebron in his prime was hands down the best athlete in the league, head and shoulders above everyone and could drive the ball every possession and still had stamina for defense
he'd get 20 foul shots per game if he had his 2009 athleticism today... dude is literally 40...

Sounds like your all-time rankings are based on a solid foundation.

Yeah you know, I was never a fan of Lebron, but being on the same team as Luka I could see why people have been fans of him, because he does a lot of things on the court and some impressive things.
Then again, here we are, Luka holding the bag as the one who couldn't deliver. Like Wade, Bosh, Love, Kyrie etc before him.
There's something about Lebron that's lacking when it comes to winning.

To put it in perspective, this current wolves team is better than any team Lebron beat out east from 2007 to 2018.
No more Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis in the early rounds. He actually has to play real teams out west every round. No bye weeks.

This.
anyone who runs to the LAL go there knowing buying ring becomes easy.
as CAVS, he had to built and earn, he ran out of mental strength (which he has least of to begin with) after that last 2018 cavs NBA finals run.
There is nothing honorable in winning LAL ring. Infact, its the worst ring of them all because they all come easy by stacking.
everyone wants hollywood, limelight and publicity for signing endorsements. LA is the best place. and also warm weather.
these kobe fans think they won a championship every time old man james loses :applause:
he's just trying to help the lakers franchise (and getting paid a shitload of money to do it)
the roster has been a work in progress every year since 2020 when they lost rondo and their centers, it's at a pretty good point now. they were lacking ballhandling, shooting, and bigs and now they nearly have it all except interior defense
if I was a kobe fan I wouldnt even be mad because now you have your future piece in luka. kid just needs to get that cardio up and practice defending nba wings and he'll win a ring or two with his talent level.

prime lebron would rip through the current west.
would be straight dominance. they dont have any elite wing defenders to slow him down. not a single team.

impossible. Prime LBJ dont have a post-up game. Prime LBJ dont have a real shooting touch (curry). Prime LBJ dont have mental strength.
how is he gonna rip thru just because game is 3 pt contest fast pace today?

Yeah, they were still irrelevant in 2019 when they got Lebron. They only became relevant when they got AD.
Truth really hurts, doesn't it?

Bran fans were talking all that shit when he was making the Finals every year in the EC when his toughest competition was Paul George and DeRozan. I'm glad Bran decided to come to the WC and show us that stacking the deck alone won't get you into the Finals when you're going up against actual superstars every year and not bottom 10 offenses led by role players.

Rather have Julius Randle than LeBron James. One got bounced by the other this playoffs. Julius plays the game with integrity, LeBron plays like a little bitch flopping, complaining and choking like the bitch he is in 4th quarters.
LeBron got shitted on by Gobert in an elimination game

Lebron put the top 3 players in the East on 1 team with the "decision", but he was perennial lottery and 1st Round loser in a real conference that wasn't manufactured (West).

Really? Cause all I remember:
2019: 4th seed at time of injury with shit roster, crushed b2b champs GSW in GS
2020: Champs
2021: on pace for Championship before injury, led the Suns(eventual Finalists)
2022: injury depleted season
2023: WCF baby, 0-4 and were up in all 4 4th quarters, terribly scheduled series with games every other day throughout on an older ish team that just came off 2 6-game series.
2024: R1 draw vs. def Champs, lost in 5 on 2 miracle losses, unlucky draw.
2025: R1 loss indeed, reason was the incomplete/short roster, again 1 miracle loss (game 4)

It's true though. Only Giannis and Jokic have achieved more than Lebron has since the 2018-2019 season based on all-nbas, rings, FMVPs. Jokic has 3 MVPs while Giannis has 2 and some DPOY awards, so they get the nod over old man James.
But go ahead and find me a player with more accomplishments than Lebron since 2018-2019.

That's a lot of copium my friend.
The fact is its plain to see it was 1000× easier for lebron when he played out East vs in the West. Outside the bubble tournament which was basically an IST tourney he never even came close to winning. Out east it was an avalanche for him.
