ECSF Game 1 is the 1st time I've seen CELTICS since last years NBA Finals.

its not about 45 missed 3 pointers.

last yrs NBA finalist MAVS were overachievers. Kyrie pumped luka and co to NBA Finals.

Hence the boring 2024 NBA Finals. as CELTICS sleepwalked won the ring.

This yrs NBA Finals will be ultra-competitive looks like.

T'Wolves peaked out. OKC will have Reigning MVP. Nuggets looking better than last year.

not sure about NYK. havent seen any Bball. East still belong to CELTICS.

But this yr. we'll have a new champ looks like.

lol. Celtics destroy any team in the finals last year except Wolves or Nuggets(where they would've needed 6 games to get it done). This year's Celtics are not as good(although Tatum is better) but still very strong. To beat them it's the same recipe as last year: You need a great big or a strong front court that can destroy them in the paint.

If Knicks want to win KAT has to has the series of his life, OG has to play big, Jaylen Brown needs to stay hurt, and KP and/or Horford need to be neutralized somehow(foul trouble, injury, old age, outplayed, anything).

I saw CELTICS MAVS finals last yr.

CELTICS notoriously blew 20 pts lead last yr in playoffs.

You get away once and when opposition in finals is overachieving MAVS. So they got 1 ring.

this year, Celtics will NOT defend. They'll get to finals. but they will loose.

Blowing 20 pts lead at home as a routine. championship DNA NUGGETS will kill CELTICS if they get there.

How tough it is to win Back-2-Back title and DEFEND your title?

Bird's celtics couldn't do it. still an all time great dynasty with 3 titles.
LBJs heat barely did it in Game 7. but failed to become a dynasty.
Kobe's LAL barely did it in Game 7. but failed to become a dynasty.
Duncan's SAS never defended its title. still won 5 rings and became all time great dynasty.


1992 Bulls were down 0-1 in a stunning Game 1 defeat.
1992 Bulls almost went down 0-2 in a disasterous win in Game 2 thanks to BJ armstrong.

this series went 1-1, 2-2 and finally 3-3 to Game 7. but in reality, this series would've gone either way had 1992 Bulls did not have HCA.

2013 ECF Heat VS Pacers. series went
1-1, 2-2 and 3-3 to Game 7. If 2013 MIA won because of HCA.

1992 Bulls had GOAT. reason they won with HCA.

2013 MIA had a SUPER team, fully stacked in their absolute prime. reason they won. 4-3 with HCA.

now Celtics are down 1-3, 2 supermax contract. both superstars in their prime.

Championship DNA shows up when backs against the wall. Game 7 is in Boston.

Now, if they come back and win 4-3, this will show they can defend their title. but getting to finals over IND.
