NBA should add a Playoffs MVP

NBA would be so much better without individual awards. Players wouldn't even care to win any if it didnt affect their contracts. Its only there for the nerds. Also cut down the regular season to 58 games. I bet the ratings would bounce back in 2 years.

Why would they remove it? The rings culture and comparing players and their accolades is like 90% of the NBA media.

There should only be 2 MVPs. Reg Sea MVP. because he play everywhere. everyone and all over the country. and almost all 82 games.

2nd MVP should only be FMVP. Because player got deep thru playoffs. and now won the ring. playing the Finalist.

Uh the NHL does have a playoff MVP, it's the Conn Smyth Trophy for the most valuable player in the playoffs. They don't have a Finals MVP.

Playoff MVP is most valuable because it's for 4 rounds of play, not just a Finals round.
