Seeing this Cavs team get decimated by injuries is so frustrating. They put together a historic year just for this crap to happen come playoff time.

Reminds me of when Kyrie and Love both missed the 2015 Finals.

Speaking of that, this is like the 4th series out of 5 where the Pacers get to play a team completely decimated by injuries. WTF is going on with their luck?

That city is cursed. The fact that LeBron was able to win a chip with that franchise is astonishing.

Bucks have had this happen for several years in a row now.

It required unprecedented help, such as a 6th straight preseason favorite (twice as many as the previous record.of 3 straight), and a sidekick outplay the league MVP (unprecedented), and the commissioner intervening with suspension of the Warriors alpha.. So unprecedented help was required to beat Curry once and get killed every other time

Dray got suspended due to his own actions and hitting the limit for technical fouls. Dray should have actually been suspended in the WCF but the refs kept letting things slide. OKC really are the ones who got screwed because of that.

Also Kyrie only "outplayed" Curry because Lebron shut down Curry on offense and then Lebron's offensive gravity allowed Kyrie to flourish like he never has before with any other teammate.

Nah... choke artists.

You don't get to front after choking like that. Game was 95% in the bag.

Lebron... was not Currys defender in that series or any for that matter at all. Kyrie guarded him. And Iman Shumpert. You saw one chase down block and thought that was the whole series. :oldlol:

I'm actually amazed in hindsight Kyrie Irving of all people held Curry to the worst playoff series of his career. And he had the best one of his career vs DPOY Marcus Smart. Funny how things work.

Curry was really limited. 2016 was his god mode peak where he was making Leonard look like Rudy Gobert.

He was a shell of himself when coming back from that mcl injury.

If you remember even Kevin Love clamped him in a perimeter iso late in the game.

He was cooked.

Curry locked up Lebron (above), while Lebron never guarded Curry - you're referencing the 10 minutes of the entire series that Curry was on the floor without Lebron (and lit it up) - it means nothing - Curry simply had a bad series because his repaired MCL needed a rest after the OKC series.

Secondly, Kyrie averaged 27 ppg to destroy Ant and make the Finals, while Kyrie was all-star MVP in 2014 before Lebron arrived - so he was great before and after Lebron.

And the decision to suspend Draymond was all Silver's - he had 100% authority to make the decision and he decided to save Lebron... But regardless of whether it was deserved or not, it was still unprecedented help for Lebron, along with the 6 straight preseason favorites (unprecedented), and a sidekick outplaying the MVP (unprecedented)..

Lebron needed this unprecedented help because he choked for 4 games to get a 1-3 deficit where he averaged 24 and 6 TO's for those 4 games... Lebron always wets the bed for the first 4 games, so he needs 7 games (2008, 2013, 2016)... Lebron averaged 16 on 39% for the first 3 games of the 13' Finals, and 19 on 26% for the first 4 games of the 08' ECSF.

So you were wrong about literally everything because you swallowed the propaganda that Klutch fed you.

OKC really are the ones who got screwed because of that. OKC would've made the finals if the league/Silver to forcefully help Steph's legacy in those WCF.

Also Kyrie only "outplayed" Curry because Lebron shut down Curry on offense (physically and mentally) and then Lebron's offensive gravity allowed Kyrie to flourish like he never has before with any other teammate.
