Post game 2 wolves series after hitting Naz Reid in the head and being assessed a technical foul, Draymond had this to say to the world:

For someone who claims to not be an angry black man, Draymond does sound like an angry black man in this video

Draymond gets in trouble because of his non -basketball plays (ie: giant leg swings, nut kicks, flailing elbows, chest stomps). Then when he gets techs or flagrants called on him he overreacts like he didn't do anything. If he would just own it and not argue about it all the time he wouldn't get so many techs. He doesn't know how to control his emotions.

I gave Draymond the benefit of the doubt in game 4 of the 2016 NBA Finals after he got suspended for trying to retaliate against Lebrons nuts.

Then this pattern of behavior continued over the next 9 years and well at some point you are your habits. He has no self accountability. It’s crazy to see how anyone can be a fan of this guy. He’s out there hurting NBA players with his anger. Dude needs help badly.

I'm not a fan, but I'm glad he's in the league. The league needs villains. It makes games more entertaining. He's the closest thing to Rodman since Rodman in terms of dirty behavior, but least Rodman owned his dirty play.

Not sure why he can't just say "angry man". Race is irrelevant

He should have been ejected. Might have been if he was white

You already know why. He's trying to play victim.

The NBA has over 300 active black players.

Out of said 300 active players I can think of maybe two that have a reputation for being angry and Draymond is #1 by a country mile to the point that I doubt anyone would even think of my #2.

Draymond is an elite level gaslighter, I'll give him that much.

Respect to his effort level but the dude has always been and will always be a lying clown.

Draymond Green is First Team All-No Accountability of literally all time. In fact he's the GOAT of no accountability.

On top of his statement being just completely and utterly false, his reasoning makes no sense. He said he can't be angry black man because he's educated and successful. Uh... all those things aren't mutually exclusive. You can be all three. Dude is just making himself look like a stupid asshole by not acknowledging that he does run around mad screaming his head off every game. May as well just lean into it and accept it. That's why I respect Dillon Brooks more. He's another angry black man but doesn't front like he's not. Keeps it real at least.

That happened during the 4th quarter.

He lost his shit once again over a technical foul he committed in the 2nd quarter when he hit Naz Reid.

Draymond is absolutely an angry person.

Frankly it should have been a flagrant 1 on Draymond.

Now everytime Draymond runs around the court screaming in anger all I'm going to imagine him saying is "I'm educated and great at basketball!"

I posted the link to see what anyone has to say about the incident. As usual nothing is said. Folks hate, despise Draymond Green that much to not care. Some probably feels it’s warranted/justified just by the usual suspect responses. Go figure.

I’m not a Draymond fan. I can’t stand him on the court. And enjoy watching him miss. But when he’s been wronged I will admit and acknowledge it. Unlike some. Yall don’t even give him that.

The funny thing is as much as I can’t Adams Draymond the basketball player. In the podcast world he’s actually cool. Chill. Likable even. I tolerate him way more in that space.

The simple fact is that whites are scared at someone like Draymond. Wherever you have a dark-skinned black guy, whether it's a white fan, commentator, or ref- they feel fear and act on that fear.

What we fail to take into account is:

* We have subsconscious bias and fears
* The fact that we act on our bias and fears, whether we're aware of it or not

People will deny it all the more for fear of being called "racist"; which they're not, they are like most of humankind, acting on perceptions below our awareness.

We perceive physical contact by Draymond as threatening. If a white player did it, a ref might think - it was unintentional. A ref reads his fear into penalization of Draymond. It's how we respond to threats.

Because our society is so divided by politics and race, it's virtually impossible to have this conversation - and the effect of implicit bias on officiating, let alone how it impacts how the game is called by commentators or perceived by fans.

I was just watching the Cle-Pacers game; Garland pushed off and his defender flopped and went flying. The white commentator reacted with shock and indignation, too consumed with a reaction to what he saw "You can't do that!". The black commentator, not reacting out of fear, called the flop for what it it was.

Meanwhile you occasionally have black refs doing the reverse to white players. Race is one of those topics that only a select few can have, who can manage their emotions, and be logical about it.

Draymond is a dirty player who punched his own teammate and also the biggest reason Durant left Golden State

Draymond has zero accountability and is a mouth breather off the court. None of this is surprising.

I dont think ive ever seen a white person with drays nervous system biology. The way he wigs out and activates all his muscle groups in like 1/100th of a second out of nowhere in violent manner isn't something we are really capable of. Even Naz Reid was shocked how quick he got hit.

Another thing a lot of people have been commenting about is that he seems to pull these stunts when down or when Curry is out. It's almost like he has no game without handing the ball off to Chef after he runs a couple laps and gets free. Dudes a whole coat riding clown. Magic carpet mfer.

Dray should look at the calendar. It's 2025, not 2015.

This might have worked in 2015.
