Shai has been pedestrian in both series by his standards, Jokic was up and down in both series, Edwards has been held in check at times during both series, Steph's output was uneven before the injury, Tatum has never been that guy, Mitchell hasnt been consistently efficient. Halliburton's production has been very limited despite some big game winners.

You think theres something to this or just coincidence?

Most years theres at least someone who's been unstoppable through the first couple rounds. It's usually Lebron James. But still.

So far everyone has looked mortal at times.

Physical play.

MJ shot sub 40% in the finals against Sonics, but that was actually good, because Pippen shot sub 30% as did most of the players.

It's all relative.

Jokic has played well, Shai has played overall well, except in crunch time. Shai is on that Lebron trajectory, too predictable.

In games like these, the role players shine, Gordon, KAT etc.

SGA made some big shots in the last 5 minutes. Last 2 he had empty possessions but they were up 2-3 possessions he dribbled out the clock which was more important and took a tough shot. He showed up in the part of the game that really mattered to get them the 7-point lead and then they just had to hold on.

Denver tries to pack the paint and play zone so it's tough for Shai to get to his spots, for whatever reason OKC doesn't get ball to Hartenstein in the middle of that zone enough, maybe they're worried about turning the ball over as Denver tries to deflect every pass but Hartenstein should be collapsing the defense by getting the ball near the FT line and passing over guys, he's one of the better passing big men in the league.
