Daaaaaaamn.

They actually rigged it for Mavs. This shit is crazy.

I've said before that Trump needs to investigate the NBA, it's a racket.

No ****ing way this wasn't payment for sending Luka to Lakers.

No effing way.

Also, Nico probably trades Flagg for a black player though.

People are going to laugh at this, but there's no way Nico is drafting a white boy to lead his carefully curated black team.

Nico is 100% trading Coop for Bailey and other players.

lol, sports conspiracy theorists gonna go wild because on its face that absolutely looks like the NBA cut some kind of deal with the Mavericks to send Luka to LA and in return they would get a draft lottery win at some point.

The 85 and 93 drafts were 100% rigged, this one seems pretty dicey too lol.

Anyways, congrats to Mavs fans, that's got to have been a rough 6 months but at least you got this to look forward to.

Good for San Antonio too.

What was Dallas chances of winning? I know at least 5 other teams had a higher % chance.

I'd AD and Kyrie come back somewhat healthy and Coop is NBA ready Mavs could be a playoff team.

It was like 1.3% or something like that.

The official nba website says 1.8%, but I'm not sure if that's a trustworthy source.

1.8% lmao im a dallas fan but this has got to be payment for the Luka trade, kinda lessens the sting actually.

It was 1.8% but they moved the decimal to make it 180% after the play in tournament and the fans revolt against Nico :oldlol:

Feels an awful lot like the NBA is pulling out all the stops for the return to NBC on the new TV deal.

I'm never one for conspiracies at all but I have to say, it just seems too coincidental that the Mavs would win it after the events of the last few months. Especially with all the "Mavs owners want to move to Vegas" theories out there.

Quite frankly, its a disgrace that the draw isn't televised. It basically gives the NBA free reign to fix any draft they like and history tells us that these coincidences happen far too often.

I always thought the most meaningful explanation for the trade was that the ownership didn't want to pay Luka supermax so they just made BS excuses and GM took the blame. You wouldn't get AD in return if you really were concerned with Luka's fitness/weight issues. And defense excuse was even more stupid. They just wanted to get rid of Luka's massive upcoming contract and acted as fast as they can since the longer they waited, the more pressure they would feel. I am not defending the move but a lot of owners are cheap and see their teams just as business.

With all that said, there has been too many times in NBA history that this kind of sht has has happened. It is fcking suspicious.

Because that's what actually happened goofball. Pels also magically got the #1 pick after handing the Lakers AD.

You guys are looking at this all wrong. I don't think the league office is mandating trades.

So now you're saying the league office foresaw Kyrie and AD both getting injured and the Mavs being in the lottery?

**** out of here.

Nico is a dumb**** that took advantage of ignorant owners that have no business owning the team.

And the league office saw how massively ****ing bad Dallas ****ed up and wanted to help out new ownership.

That's how it went down.

The amount of people that would need to be involved to have league wide rigging is crazy. You guys think someone like Cuban wouldn't have blown the whistle over the years? Or some random?

No, the league picks and chooses its spots with its rigging in such a way that it will always be deniable. Lottery picks and certain reffing situations and that's about it.

They can't just pick & choose any of this shit bro. You understand if they rigged games or any lottery picks they could get the league shut down?

Said this back in February. Week after the Luka trade. That Dallas would be GIFTED the Flagg sweepstakes (among other things) for their compliance in trading Luka to LA
