So the Raptors ended up getting the 9th pick.

They had a 13 percent chance to get the 9th pick.

They had better odds at landing either the first or second pick (7.5 + 8)

They had an 86% chance of getting a higher draft pick than 9.

Raptors lost 50+ games to end up with a 9 pick.

They'll be fine. Because Ujiri is a good scout everywhere there's players. Colleges, Africa, Europe, G-League, other NBA teams. That dudes gotten value out of every avenue. He literally retrofitted a championship core out of a g-league lineup.

His ability is unquestionable.

But teams like Washington are in hell man. They needed Flagg. They truly needed him. They've not had an elite player in all of our lifetimes. They're not close to one now.
