View Full Version : Possible pedo makes weird looking Superman film

We've had 3 different cracks at Superman on screen since the new millennium. The first director was a gay guy who had relations with a minor, the second director was an overgrown teenage edgelord ... and now the third director is a possible pedo or at least shows characteristics of being a pedo. And he's a woke idiot to boot.

Just what the hell is this? :oldlol:

I have a soft spot for Superman because he was my favorite when I was younger and I think as a fictional icon he represents something significant.

Can we let someone make a Superman movie who's just a normal guy??

What looked weird in there exactly? It's a superhero fighting super villains.

Superman is genuinely the lamest superhero. Dude can fly, has super strength, infinite powers, bullets literally bounce off him, his only weakness is a tiny green rock from a different planet. Remind me again why this is supposed to be fun to watch :lol

You can blame the directors, but to me, it's the character. I don't think it's a coincidence when we've seen superhero movies do phenomenally well at the box office, including obscure ones like Ant Man, but Superman hasn't had any kind of success.

Superman hasn't had success because the movies are total dogshit. You can't ignore that he was the most popular character in comics for 75+ years and the Christopher Reeve movies are still classic. This is like the 10th Superman movie in 50 years and the trailer is close to 60m views on Youtube.

Let's see if there's buzz for an Antman movie in 50 years.

Lol first of all the guy isn't man enough. Superman is suave and would never start yelling and getting emotional in a conversation with Lois. He is supposed to depict the ideal man and men don't get emotional in those situations. This guy comes off like a total cuck.

Second, the movie is trying to have this serious conversation about Superman and how he effects geopolitics and yadda yadda... meanwhile it looks like a goofy comic book movie and he's fighting a giant Godzilla monster. The tone is just all over the place. All sorts of different weird looking characters. Looks like he fights some regular chick with blades for hands.

Even the dog is wrong. Krypto is supposed to be a man's dog, like a labrador. Not some little gay guy dog. In fact I read the director literally inserted his own dog so I'm not surprised. If you saw the tweets this guy posted in the past you would know he is the absolute last person you want making a Superman movie.

that's actually the first thing i was thinking. although it's probably a good thing for people like us because it's such an obvious red flag to not spend the time watching the movie.

I read that Warner Bros has a lot riding on this movie and need it to be a huge hit which it probably won't be. So once it underperforms you'll probably see less of them.

The next trend will be videogame based movies. The Mario movie made over a billion, that new Minecraft movie did well too. There is also a Zelda movie on the way. Really just no end to the milking of popular things.

I'm calling it now that Zelda movie will an be all time fail.

Lol so overall a movie with basically all whites and straight white male hero who can do anything is too woke and gay for you :oldlol:

Real talk though, Reeve turned human for Lois and then got his ass kicked by a dumb hillbilly. He was way more of a cuck than this dude who is yelling at Lois.

They're just so predictable and repetitive, virtually every superhero movie.

Hero discovers/obtains his powers

The villain emerges, they have 2-3 big fights

Hero defeats villain in the end

Why people kept turning in droves to see those Avengers movies, I for sure don't know :lol

You can't say that with the Dark Knight... Batman became the villain at the end.

besides, Dark Knight is hailed as one of the greatest movies ever made...

Well considering the director is woke and gay, yea it's pretty easy to see why the movie would turn out that way too. :oldlol:

And Reeve Superman wasn't a cuck in that scene. He stood up for his woman and was willing to take a beating. Getting your ass kicked doesn't make you a cuck if you go down fighting.

You would know that if you weren't a cuck.

Getting your ass kicked doesn't, but giving away all your super powers does.

Getting your ass kicked doesn't, but giving away all your super powers does.

Not at all.

In Superman II he gave up his powers for selfish reasons because he wanted to live a normal life with Lois. He restores his power the moment Earth is under serious threat and he realizes the world still needs Superman. That's character growth.

Superman is supposed to be confident and resolute. He would never lose his cool in an argument with Lois and get all emotional when having to explain himself. Christopher Reeve in those movies is calm, composed and emotionally in control. This new guy is the complete opposite. "PEOPLE WERE GOING TO DIE!!!"

You have to understand that James Gunn is a woke lefty at heart. He doesn't really understand what it means to be a man. He is someone who unironically believes in toxic masculinity and thinks showing emotional vulnerability means strength. If you asked him to describe the ideal man, he would probably give the exact same answer as some college educated lesbian.

I predict this movie will have a decent enough opening weekend because the character is so iconic and people have been waiting a long time for a Superman movie done right, but I predict it will end up being a bomb because nobody wants to see Supercuck.
