Big if. But if so, it will mark the first non-bubble year since 1981 that the Conference Finals contain neither a 1 nor a 2 seed.

The Lakers were the 1 seed in 2020. I would imagine that has probably never happened before.

There has literally NEVER BEFORE been an NBA Final Four without a #1 or #2 seed.
